★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A smaller version of the pyramid of Kukulkan. Notable for beautiful stairway balustrades in the shape of serpents. This large pyramid is located between el Castillo and the caracol observatory. No accesses available but according to the guide there is a temple on top with access to a subterranean cavern where human remains were found, hence its name - the ossuary.
