El Pez Hotel Tulum - 77780 Tulum

The rooms with beach access were spectacular and convenient. Literally right in the sand steps from the water. Perfect environment for relaxing. It had a jet tub outdoors. Separate from the room and bathroom. The food was delicious. The drinks were also amazing. The service is slow but it’s because anything you ask for is made from scratch. So we have to be understanding and patient. The beach is beautiful but not ideal to swim in because it has rocks.

Located on a cove it's really a nice quiet location. A bit further than walking distance to places but they do offer bikes. The back garden is lush and green and the beach is essentially private.

Incredible small boutique hotel! We stayed here for 6 nights late June, for our first post COVID trip, and I cannot even begin to express how much we absolutely loved our stay here. We truly felt spoiled and cared for by the entire staff - everyone was extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. Coffee in the AM, turn down tea and chocolate in PM, welcome drinks, drink coupons for sister hotels, random little 'surprises' (cocktails), complimentary boxed breakfast for excursion / travel days. The best hosting I've ever experienced 1000000/10 for service! The food was amazing - we loved the enjoying our meals by the ocean. Rooms were comfy and cool (they have A/C & fans!). Pool & cabanas were relaxing and clean. Only bummer was the seaweed that accumulates, making the beach inaccessible, but that is totally out of the hotels control - happens all up and down the coast! Nonetheless, people we working on removing it daily which goes to show the investment El Pez providing a great experience. If traveling to Tulum, you must stay at El Pez!

Everything was amazing! El Pez offers a true boutique hotel feel - they knew our names and room number, our coffee preferences, etc., without compromising at all on quality and service. The restaurant serves delicious food and awesome drinks. The beach is incredible and the pool is wonderful too (was always empty when we were there, too). The location is excellent - close to everything but still relaxing and tranquil. I honestly don't have a bad thing to say about this place.

I do not have enough words to describe how amazing our stay was here. I have never met a more attentive and caring staff at a hotel. They TRULY care about you and your well being and will go above and beyond to make sure that you are taken the best care of. Arturo and Gilbert advised us with the best places in Town to visit and went as far as even making reservations for us, getting us taxis and fulfilling every request we had. There were also other people at the concierge who were just as helpful. The attention to detail is amazing here. There was always coffee waiting for us in the morning and complimentary tea every evening. We stayed in the Caribbean deluxe which had a stunning view. The included breakfast menu had a variety to choose from and was delicious with excellent service. We also received free drink vouchers and access to all the sister hotel amenities. Every evening, there was always something going on (seafood bar, 2 for one mojitos, etc). Additionally, the location is central to anything you would want to experience in Tulum, both by walking or taxis. I cannot recommend this place enough, we will 100% be back here the next time we visit!

Visited the restaurant in January. What a delight! The view is magnificent. The service is wonderful. The food is very well presented and delicious! What does one order most when in Mexico? - tacos! Yes, so good! We tried different tacos and we're not disappointed! The sea breeze was amazing and our time at El Pez was delightful. The hotel grounds looked beautiful too! Would recommend!

The service was top notch! The beach almost feels private since it's right on the point. AC worked well, the rooms are immaculate and the food is phenomenal. Don't miss the Saturday seafood bar! Caribbean lobster was the cherry on top of an excellent vacation! We'll be back!

This is a great restaurant. We felt totally welcomed from the time parked our car. The staff was very friendly. Beautiful interior and beautiful view of the cove. Food was delicious. Fish tacos, shrimp tacos all was excellent.
