★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you plan to stay here, please understand you will receive little to no help should any problem arise. The staff is aware of the condition of the hotel and they're experts in weaseling out of any type of compensation or refund.
We already knew the hotel was not great based on the reviews you can find online so our expectations were very low. We just needed a room for the night so we could sleep and shower. The problems started right when it began to rain since there were water leaks in both rooms we were offered. The second room, 1103, had damage in the shower and it even fell down right after one of the children took a quick shower. The hotel did try to move us a third time but they took forever to provide a room. By the time they did call, it was 1:00 am and my family was already asleep since they were tired after a day of swimming. The following morning, we asked for a room so we could simply shower but the power went out. We couldn't even use the toilet since there was no water. We were so upset we decided to leave which was also a challenge. We had to walk 11 flights of stairs with no emergency lights and carrying all of our luggage. It was pitch dark!
Again we had very low expectations for the hotel and even then we were let down.
To no surprise, the Hotel El Presidente Acapulco, did not take any responsibility and didn't demonstrate any type empathy for our situation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible place to stay. inaccurate photos & description from their website. They still using photos from long time ago.
I hate this place??????
I have to purchase and extension cord because the room just have one electrical outlet for the whole room and the ceiling light stop working and they never fixed them.
$250 Mexican pesos to lend you a towel by the pool. The AC barely blew cold air into the room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (Everything about the hotel was nice like the view and easy access but there were a few things that made our stay not worth the money) We came in Sunday at noon and realized the tv wasn’t working we were tired and wanted to rest so we didn’t tell then until Monday, when we told them the tv wasn’t working they said they will fix in 10 minutes so we waited. We ended up waiting 2 hours. We reminded them and they came up to try and fix the tv after a few more hours of waiting. The tv couldn’t be fixed so they told us someone would come up to fix it by the time we came back from being out. We came back and it still wasn’t fixed. This continued for all of our stay. Aside from the tv there was an all you can eat buffet that served barely mediocre food, there wasn’t a huge variety which isn’t bad but the food was also just not worth the price. Again if you decide to stay here it’s not worth the price. ((Most)Staff were kind and covid friendly)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cheap hotel, but the rooms are very outdated and many things don't work well. The air conditioner is very noisy and the doors to the balcony have very small handles. They does not have parking in the hotel so be prepared to wait almost an hour if the outside traffic is high. Besides that the beach is nice and the view is amazing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No outlets to plug in your phone battery in my room. There is one outlet.... That's in the bathroom and is inconvenient. Don't know if this is an issue in other rooms but in 802 it is.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first time in Acapulco and this hotel was not good at all. They don’t have good service and the rooms aren’t the best looking. Definitely expected better

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's the third time that we stay here, but the worst experience we've had. It seems as if the hotel has been left unattended for quite some time. The service at the reception and valet parking was fine, the staff was very friendly, but once we got to our room, things weren't too great. First of all, the room smelled like a dirty mop and was quite filthy in general. Secondly, the air conditioner is very old and we were never able to lower the temperature, so it was a bit hot throughout both day and night. Moreover, there was no Wifi (we were given a password but were never able to connect)and there was no safe (for valuables). Lastly, the hotel does have a great location and has a lovely view, but it's definitely not worth the price we're paying. It's a shame that they've left this hotel so unattended, it used to be my family's first choice when coming to Acapulco and a nice experience, but if things don't change, we're probably not coming back. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that they charge for parking too. It definitely needs some maintenance.
