LOOl FOR ANOTHER HOSTEL!!! If you feel comfortable with sharing your place with cockroaches, a stinky bathroom, inpolite staff, with spending as much money on air coditioning as you already do for your room and you dont mind wifi cutting off all the time its your place to be... otherwise look for one of the many better places to stay.

Great atmosphere. A giant shot of tequila and a beer for 70 pesos. Nice little pool and I hear the tacos are great.

The Guys are Crooks I stayed in March. No one speaks english and the owner is Argentinian and Very Arrogant!! There is another man who was hitting on all the women. (Old pedophile creeping all the women guest, he had a pony tail) I would say this place was a garbage dump. Please do not be fooled by any positive reviews of this place. It has BEDBUGS and the staff say no your lying. I was going to stay for 3 days but I left Extremely early in the morning. It takes over 1 hour walking from the bus terminal to get to this property. They demanded that I pay for my stay up front as they said if I do not pay they might give away my bed while I was out enjoying Tulum. The next day when I left they refused to give me my money back and they where going to call the police. I wish I was held at gunpoint by the cartel for ransom. I think I would have been treated better. Tulum is pretty Find a better location. Find a hotel own by Mexican's Not Arrogant Argentinian's That think they are above the local people!

There was a mixup in booking rooms (my fault) so we asked about the dorms and decided to stay because we needed a room. We didn't realize the shared single shower (meant for 7 people) was a tiny trickle, no hot/warm water, and 2 of 3 fans in the stifling room were not working. Understandably, my parents did not want to stay in these conditions, so we went next door to the beautiful Amansala. To top it off, while we were moving our things over, one of the owners seemed annoyed that we were moving. Since we'd already paid for the night, we asked if we could use the bikes for the evening and he said of course not. They were not particularly friendly from the beginning but the fact that he was annoyed at us even though we'd already paid and left the beds untouched was ridiculous. Rude.

I guess best deal in town, but to be clear do not have any expectations on comfort. Moskitos Paradies, we could not stay a minute out side the rooms. Watch out for sea grass season, the beach is absolutely not enjoyable at that time!

******************BED BUGS****************************** This place was the pits, The people who own it are from Argentina and they do not care about the local people. I noticed that these people come to Mexico and overlord the locals. I was staying at this resort in March. The staff and owner are very rude they make you pay for the whole visit upfront. 4 days, I was shocked and disgusted by how the bedding and washrooms where kept. There was one staff member with a pony tail that kept hitting on the female guest... **************Total Pervert*********** The bed sheets where covered in blood. from bites. I stayed for 40 mins and I asked the own I was feeling very ill and I could not stay here any longer. I asked him as I was on a costly budget would I be able to get my three remainder days back and he told me no and said you can leave when you like. Pretty much these guys are crooks and thieves. Zero Safety and no protected. The photos hype this place up. Its a complete dump!!! Run far and fast away from this place. You have been warned

Charming place with nice room. Well located: possible to rent bike almost on the next door, direct on the main street for access to beaches and ruins. Nice atmosphere at the restaurant and bar (with a lovely but small swimming pool )

The hotel has a nice and rustic look and feel to it. Unfortunately mosquitoes have found a way to get into the room and the rear of the hotel complex is beside a car detailing workshop and it gets a bit noisy sometimes. The hotel also needs thicker curtains for the bathroom windows.
