★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se dice que el Señor de la Caña fue encontrado en las cañas por los trabajadores, que en ese mismo instante iban a proceder a quemar la caña de un cuartel; pero, al ver que no se podia quemar los trabajadores se encontraban extrañados y pensaban que eran milagrosas esas cañas. Posteriormente, los trabajadores ingresaron al cuartel de cañas y se econontraon con la sorpresa que había una imagen; por lo que, avisaron al patrón de ese entonces, este llegó y mandó retirar la imagen y a partir de allí dio la orden de que cada año se llevara a cabo la fiesta patronal ya que era una imagen milagrosa.
Todos los que lean esto, estan cordialmente invitados a la fiesta de nuestro Señor de la Caña el dia 6 de enero.

It is said that the Lord of the Cane was found in the canes by the workers, who at that very moment were going to proceed to burn the cane from a barracks; But, when they saw that it could not be burned, the workers were surprised and thought that these canes were miraculous. Later, the workers entered the cane barracks and were surprised that there was an image; Therefore, they notified the patron of that time, he arrived and ordered the image to be removed and from there he gave the order that the patronal feast be held every year since it was a miraculous image.
