The inside is tiny with only two tables. Most people seem to take out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I waited 10 minutes for one empanada where the meat tasted delicious but was cold/slightly frozen in the middle. Shouldn’t the meat be freshly cooked? 35 pesos for one small empanada seems expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! We made a pit stop in Playa del Carmen on the way back from Tulum/Coba and decided to use majority of our allotted time to give this highly rated gem a try. We tried Carne, Carne Picante, Chicken, Chipotle Chicken, Curry Chicken, and 3 cheese. Let's just say all were hittin'! Would love to go back, not sure we'll have time this trip, but for sure next time we're in Playa, we'll know where to go for empanadas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a New Yorker and world traveler I am used to very fresh and excellent quality food. This guy is an artist a master that makes the creation of only the freshest and finest ingredients. His empanadas are one of the 25 best things I've ever eaten in my entire life. I will be visiting this guy twice a week until the middle of June when I leave Playa del Carmen. I have zero hesitation giving him the highest recommendation possible.
