You reserve the car for an amount, but in the end you are forced to pay an insurance that is not mandatory. The value is doubled.

Мы были на месте в 7-30 и офис не работал. Мы прождали до 9-30 утра и на месте все ещё никого не было. Соседние работники уверили,что сотруднику позвонили и он едет,но когда ему позвонили и откуда он едет и как скоро он приедет,понять невозможно, т. к. английским практически не владеют. On the eve of the planned trip, we found out the cost of renting a car and office hours. Hours of operation are from 7 am. We were there at 7:30 and the office was closed. We waited until 9-30 in the morning and still no one was there. Neighboring workers assured that the employee was called and he was going, but when they called him and where he was coming from and how soon he would arrive, it was impossible to understand, because they practically did not speak English.

I rented with Enterprise here in Cancun last year and was never asked for a passport book. Even though they can see on their computer that I am an Enterprise Employee they couldn’t help me and were also giving me a higher price than what I had on my reservation..

I dont know if Manuel is the manager or not but clearly he has the talent to be one. An amazing set of experiences driven by honesty and transparency. On three occasions Manuel and team went out of his way to assist us with transportation related issues (not rental) I have not rented anyplace else in Cancun but I won't plan to rent again unless it is with this Enterprise office. Well Done!!

I used my Enterprise points to score a "free" car for a few days of driving around and exploring. The chap behind the desk was friendly and helpful, the car was OK, the Mexican insurance details were a bit confusing (thought it'd be wise to get at least a basic policy), but if in doubt you'd better get it or at least read up on it. Returned the car with no problems, everything was legit. Be warned though: the place is a bit hard to find and even my local taxi driver couldn't figure out the address as given on Enterprise's website. Seems if you ask for the Hotel Ibis, it makes it easier to find.
