This is the worst office of them all, not only was super closed when I arrived at 9 am and stay at least 30 minutes until I knew they were not going to open, the open hours say from 8:30 am, but probably sleep in their houses still, well my business goes anywhere else, if I was an inspector for enterprise, I will consider closing this office, to find it is difficult they don’t have any enterprise sign outside be carful with this one.

I booked a reservation and then showed up during hours of operation to see that no one came in to open the store. Why would you accept and co form my reservation if no one showed up to open the store.

We had a great experience with Enterprise Tulum. We had read the horror stories/reviews about renting a car in Cancun, so we were wary, but we really felt it was the best way for us to get around to the different places we wanted to go (ruins, beaches) and avoid the 'tour' groups. This organization took care of us and made everything seamless. Alejandro was very helpful communicating information prior to the rental and at the location, and other staff members were great in helping us inspect the car, provide directions, and even providing us with a ride back to our hotel after drop-off. (We lucked out with that last one. Otherwise, there are lots of taxis that you can get close by) As far as renting a car in Mexico goes: 1) You need insurance and your credit card insurance doesn't work. You need to purchase insurance from the organization you rent from. Spend 10 minutes reading reviews and you will see that advice everywhere. We knew that going in so we purchased the insurance when we made the reservation. There was no pushing for additional insurance and no questioning our coverage when we picked up the car. Everything was in order. As far as driving in Cancun/Tulum/Yucutan goes: 1) KmPH vs MPH. Everything in Mexico is measured in kilometer as opposed to mile. Some reviews say you really need to be conscious of this, but we found that the rental car odometers were also in kilometer, so there was no confusion. 2) Police. You will read a lot of reviews that talk about the police pulling over tourists and needing to be bribed. As far as I could tell, the police only pull people over that break the law. We passed many, many police officers who looked directly at us and were not confused that we were tourists. We never had an issue. Obey the law, drive the speed limits, follow traffic patterns and learn local practices by observing the local drivers around you, and you'll be fine. The hours listed on the website or on Google do not always match the actual operating times. I would suggest calling to make sure they're open when you pick up and drop off. That being said, we received an email the morning of our rental indicating the hours they would be open for pickup and dropoff.

Very Bad service, 1,5 hours to late open the Store on pick up and return + we have to pay 40€ extra for insurance we "need". Never again there! Better for your self, go to the other car rental!

Best to rent online ahead of time as they don’t keep many vehicles there, but they were great and worked with us to transfer several large vans to the tulum enterprise where we were staying.

Dramatic 'business'. Rented a car online via the Expedia website 'including all mandatory insurances'. It was stated literally on the receipt. On arrival at this so called office it took forever before someone showed up. Telling us we had to pay US$ 60 per day (!) more because they require another mandatory insurance. That's three times the car rental price?! Thiefs. We cancelled and they told us they couldn't do a refund of our prepayment. Luckily Expedia handled it after a call. What a joke. We rented a car at iTour 100 meter down the road for less than half the price including everything. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this place.

I booked a car at the Tulum office and had a great experience with Angelica. I try to avoid booking with 3rd parties for international trips because the rental agencies typically have their own policies for insurance/accident protection which companies like Expedia, etc…don’t always disclose. Renting my car at the tulum enterprise office was very convenient, staff is helpful and friendly, and overall the costs were reasonable. I wish we could have taken the car to the airport, but unfortunately this wasn’t an option due to low inventory.

We made reservation through Expedia including full insurance and when we came to pick up the car, they didn’t have any available. We then agreed to come few days later, but to get the same price as the first booking. We realised that in Mexico the full insurance Expedia provides doesn’t mean anything and that you have to get another Mexican insurance anyway, either partial or full. So if you’re booking through Expedia, don’t buy their insurance! When we came to pick up the car again, they didn’t have the economy one we booked, so they gave us a bigger car, which was perfect for us! All in all, I have mixed feelings. At the end it all turend fine, but just because we were flexible.
