★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cuando uno visita Mérida lo primero que puedes notar es que en el centro histórico hay unas placas en las esquinas con unas dibujos y nombre. Esto viene en la época de la colonia del donde había una nueva sociedad mezcla de maya ,español y otros inmigrantes.no había nomenclatura y para poder decir dónde estaba ubicado una tienda o una casa hacian referencia con algo que se encontraba ahí. Algo que hoy en día se sigue diciendo " la esquina del elefante" ahí doblas o la del "choque" hay muchas que sin duda debes recorrer y conocerlas . Te recomiendo que pongas atención pues hay unas muy interesantes como la de "la sirena" o el " loro" muy simpáticas
