Estación de Taxi - 77310 Holbox

It cost 150pesos to go to zone 8 Flamingo hôtel. Ask to the driver before to be sure of the price. The worst expérience of our holidays....

Worst experience ever. Everyone is nice and services is good for tourist except with Taxi. Very expensive, no respect of price indicated. Attitude of the driver are terrible and they are giving a very bad image of Holbox and the rest of the population. Next time I'll walk.

The trick is to ask for the price first and if there is any trouble take video/pictures of their taxi and the driver. They will try and scam you with a made up price per person, but the sign at the rank doesn't say per person. Just refuse to pay the scam price and throw the money at them.

Is it mafia or a need ? I understand roads are bad and upkeep is need it for the carts , But with 3 times or 4 times the price advertise is not a feel of trust , Also I notice all taxis getting organized about pricing at peak times , Just make sure to ask for price before and say no if you think is not fair , Look at the price list by area and you be the judge , Do them a favor and ask then to leave their “union” if they are not honoring price. Rent a cart and save your self the feeling of getting scam

These taxis are necessary as the roads can be flooded or just hard to drag a suitcase down but they will charge you whatever they want. Even standing next to the sign that says it’s a fixed price of 49 pesos they will still charge you 150/200. Pointed this out and the guy took the luggage off the cart and moved onto the next customer in the que. Shame really as it leaves a very bad taste as soon as you arrive on a beautiful island.

A bunch of scammers. We were supposed to pay 49 pesos for our ride from the ferry port to our hotel, however the taxi driver charged 70 pesos. The woman managing the taxi station also agreed with that surcharge. Once pointing out that is a dishonest move, the taxi driver said he knew that. Also, we heard so many stories about these additional charges or taxis not picking up enough persons so that a family should get two taxis instead of one. Simply Scammers damaging this amazing island.

They tried to scam us and our friends. They asked 2x the regular price. We didnt get to the hotel beacuse there was too much water. We wanted to gave 150% of the regular price and not 200% and wanted to left. She argued, then took the money(200%), took a picture of us and ran away. We still had 200m long of water to go with baggage on our heads (so that they dont get wet). The taxi number was 15 and 24. The drivers were women. This incident took place at 14.05 on 28.10.2021.

Scam. Taxi mafia. 2 times I've used this taxi company and it was a scam. They charge more that it is advertised on the website. 1st: Arrived the island and asked for a taxi with your company at the ferry dock. The driver was a woman and the taxi license plate is A-822-tnj.She charged 200 pesos to take us to Casa Hx, when it is advertised on your website that this area should be zona 5 or zona 6, 75 pesos or 100 pesos. 2nd: We asked for a taxi with your company from casa HX to the ferry dock. The driver was a man ( I believe his name is Gabriel) and the taxi license plate is A-784-tnj. The number of the taxii on the side was 119. He charged us initally 250 pesos but after some talk he said it could be 200 pesos to take us to the ferry, when it is advertised on your website that this area should be zona 5 or zona 6, 75 pesos or 100 pesos. The taxi ride started around 13:40 We want a refund of the money (200 or 250 pesos). How should we proceed in order to receive it? We also would like to see some action taken regarding the taxi drivers.
