★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overpriced and the worse service I ve ever seen in Mexico!!! And on top of that you have to ask for everything (salsa for your tacos for example and that takes such a long time) !! My advice, try some street food just around the corner which tasted much butter was cheaper and the service gave you a smile. And here is no real French food...the French owner should visit his restaurant and school his employees. Do not come here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Does not really feel like a French restaurant. And the Mexican dishes on the menu are also very uninspired. Not terrible, but you can probably get better Tacos at almost any other place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We're one day into our week long vacation and I already know this will be the worst meal we'll have. Cold pasta, overcooked shrimp still in the shell with veins still in. Pieces of crab shell all over, with no meat. One mussel shell, empty, on top. They try to hide tipping in the bill hoping you won't notice. Overcharged us for the beer we ordered.
I would have been notably happier with room temperature ramen, honestly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m not usually one to leave bad reviews but I believe I have the duty to warn others about my husband and my experience here. We asked a staff member who was grilling meat outside if they accept credit card and were told yes (we were running low on cash and there is only one atm in town that dispenses pesos and it frequently has a ridiculously long line. On top of that we were planning on catching the ferry off the island after lunch).
After sitting down we opted for the more expensive burger option after the waiter recommended it explaining it came with an entire piece of grilled arrachera skirt steak). At $150 pesos a burger and after the waiter talked it up we were thoroughly disappointed. First of all it was the tiniest burger/sandwich I’ve had in Mexico. The bun was the size of a hot dog bun. The meet was not an entire piece of steak like we were told but instead was a skimpy portion of shredded beef that left much to be desired (esp since we were drawn to the restaurant by the aroma of meet grilling outside and didn’t understand why that same meat wasn’t on our burger). The burger came with a tiny piece of lettuce and tomato and no fries either. We were both still starving after our meal but didn’t want to order anything else bc the prices at this restaurant are twice the prices anywhere else.
After all this, we requested the check. When it came time to pay the bill, we were told that we couldn’t pay with credit bc the card reader hadn’t been working for several days. I could hardly believe this bc the WiFi signal was working just fine throughout our meal. When I explained that we picked this restaurant specifically bc we were told credit was accepted, the employees merely shrugged and pointed to the atm next door. That atm only dispenses USD and charges an extremely high transaction fee. I explained we had a little bit of USD left and could pay with that. He offered us a 16:1 peso to USD exchange rate which was a complete rip off ?The going exchange rate on the island was 18:1 which was already higher than the market value 19:1 rate for that day. We then asked to speak with the manager who they directed us to. We were surprised to realize that the manager who was wearing a black T-shirt was the exact same employee who told us that the restaurant accepted credit cards in the first place. We argued with him explaining that we at least should receive a fair exchange rate especially because we were misinformed and that was the least they could do. The manager was utterly unsympathetic and indifferent to our situation. After yelling at us to go to the money exchange office if we wouldn’t accept their rip-off exchange rate he totally dismissed us and stared down at his phone and proceeded to ignore us. My husband ended up going to the money exchange to change our USD to pesos so we could pay for the expensive unsatisfying meal while I waited at the restaurant infuriated. The manager completely ignored me the rest of the time. I have never been treated this way as a customer and cannot even describe how upsetting this all was ? I highly recommend against giving this restaurant your business. There are so many other friendly establishments on the island serving much better food at a more reasonable price with staff that doesn’t blatantly lie to your face.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You may think this place is expensive, but it is not. Their food is tasty and the price is right. Cool beers. Also, they broadcast sports!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rating my experience for a night out when they had live music on a Saturday night. The place was super lively, the live band was simply amazing, and got lots of free beer from everyone I met that night at Et Voila. While there wasn't much space for dancing, a few of us went up close to the stage to dance to the last few songs of the band. I only had beers, but the people I met had some cocktails and stated how strong they were. Overall a fun night out at this place.
