It helped that I had an idea of what he was talking about, so definitely do your research before going. Pharmacy had everything I needed. Hint: Pay in pesos.

Doctor seemed knowledgeable and we got the amoxicillin we needed for our kid. Don't know why folks are talking about mischarging and stuff. Just ask how much something is before paying for it. Everything is overpriced in Cancun..

Although communications were not the best with the pharmacy staff we understood enough that to arrive early on the day we needed our test was the best and to expect a line. We arrived an hour before the doc did at 8am and were first in line. He helped us register on paper when we arrived and the test we were in and out in 30 minutes for the both of us. They suggest to tip a little which is no problem as the tests were cheaper and faster than where we heard from many other hospitals/hotels in the area and the doctor did exactly what we needed! They accepted payment beforehand with card or cash inside the pharmacy.
