Fiesta Inn Chetumal - 77000 Chetumal

The first week we stayed here, it was pretty good. The service was a bit long for drinks, but it wasn't bad. The second time we stayed here (about a week later) our room had an ant INFESTATION. We woke up to ants literally everywhere. In our bags, everywhere on the floor, and eventually in our bed. They have a nest in the wall. When we first informed the hotel, we wanted to switch rooms. They didn't get back to us until a few hours later. Ants were literally crawling on us. They didn't do much but give us free drinks and free breakfast to compensate. Turned out we received free breakfast anyway with Hotels.com, so that didn't help much. Then, they were saying they never offered us free drinks. Then after much hassle, they gave us the drinks after finding out our free breakfast was included. The way they handled this whole thing was very poor. I had high hopes for this place, but now I regret coming back. We were going to stay longer, but we're taking our money elsewhere. I just found out you can get Jr. Suites in this city for about the same price and even less than this place. That's what we'll be doing.

Very nice, good buffet breakfast and lunch. The housekeeping needs some improving.

Has a breathaking view, room were everything we needed clean, spacious and the staff very warm and welcoming.

Amazing place. Daily service, food, and staff are exceptional. Would recommend that each room come with a kitchenette and a mini fridge though. For added comfort

Everyone is super helpful and kind. We enjoyed our stay. They have airport shuttle which is super awesome. We stayed here during our trip across the Belize border. Very convenient!

Perhaps the best place to stay in Chetumal if your looking for a view of the city and the bay. You can see for miles in every direction. I think we tried almost every meal one the menu. The service is exceptional and you will surely enjoy your time here. The rooftop pool is beautiful. Enjoy the sun and relax after exploring the city. Order a meal on the roof, any meal, breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Order some cocktails and lounge under the overhead cover while you listen to a late evening rain. Ready to explore, Visit the tourist station in the lobby and talk to Minerva, she can send you on a sailing adventure or off to explore the Mayan ruins and much more. Or just walk out the front door and head to the avenue of heros. Tired of hotel food, your walking distance to almost any food you might want. This place is a great hub for an adventure in the wonderful City of Chetumal. The experience is superb.
