Beautiful rooftop. Friendly people. Best cappuccino around. Delicious breakfast sandwich.

What a shambles. All the seating is on the roof, 2 floors up from the kitchen, and they only have 2 servers, so of course the service is overextended and thus terrible. When I asked my server to box up the rest of my meal, she took it and then disappeared for half an hour. I finally asked a different server for the check and was told I had to go downstairs to pay (no idea how I was supposed to know this, since it’s not indicated anywhere). Had to go outdoors to pay and then back in to ask for my boxed food. She looked worried and ran around for 15 minutes, only then finally coming back and admitting they'd thrown it out. Again, you can hardly expect better when you only have 2 servers for a dining space 2 floors above the kitchen. The food itself was fine though the portions were meagre. The roof only has shade on one or two tables once the sun gets past 11 a.m. or so, so most of it is very uncomfortable. Do yourself a favor and walk 5 minutes to Chepiche Cafe for an infinitely better experience.

We were going 30 min as we wanted to try a lot of dishes that were on Instagram, but there were none of them in the real menu. Instead the real menu was pretty boring. We had a coffee that was good, and a croissant- was very fresh ?? terrace- simple. Doesn’t worth to walk that far, only if you live nearby.

Fried chicken sandwich was delicious, as was the pink lemonade. I wish the sandwich came with fries or a salad, because I was still a bit hungry after eating just the sandwich.

One of my favourite coffee spots in town due to the beautiful rooftop. It can get quite hot up there so I like to go early, strong coffee and tasty pastries.

This place serves solid coffee with a great view off the terrace. I always come here after getting brunch at nearby Chepiche Cafe. I love sitting on their terrace with a coffee and a danish. Probably the most solid danish I’ve had in Oaxaca. They make a coffee flavored pastry cream that they lightly place in the center and top with fresh fruit. I really love it and get it every time - even if I show up already full. I like the iced cold brew. The sun in Oaxaca is no joke, so chillin on the terrace is best with a nice iced beverage and lots of sun protection, cuz you’re gonna want to stay a while to soak up the view and the relaxing vibe.
