★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience I've had with any car rental agency. I prepaid a reservation to ensure a car was available. No car was available when I went in to pick the car up. I had plans to pick up family at the airport. Had to make alternative plans to pick them up which cost extra money.
After four hours, they call and say they have a car available and that it wasn't the class I initially booked, thus meaning I would have to pay more money than I already paid.
I took the car, we went on our way. I go to return the car and they say there is too much sand and they will charge me $50 for a cleaning fee. What? I have never in my life heard of this. They waste my time telling me to go clean it. This took a guy 5 minutes and 50P, something I would expect their employees could have accomplished very quickly.
Next, they tell me the gas isn't where it was left when I picked it up. Oh but it was. The guy behind the counter didn't take a photo of the meter and they were trying to pin it on me. They had to call the original receptionist to ensure that I wasn't cheaping them out 1/4 tank.
Moral of the story; the people working here are very incompetent and should not be in the business of customer service. They wasted a total of 5 hours of my time and the cost was above expectations due to the ridiculous practices of this car rental agency.
Whoops! I almost forgot, I told them I was covered by my credit card for insurance (I am), and they put a 195,000P deposit on my card. That is $9,500 USD and probably the fair value of the vehicle at the time.
I would recommend you VEER FAR AWAY from this business. Management does not understand customer service, and car renting is a customer service industry. Management plays tricks and tries getting customers to pay more than they should. STAY AWAY!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an excellent experience from start to finish. Hirvin helped us and was the most professional person I’ve ever met. He was very clear about the different cars we could rent, price, and terms of the contract. It felt like he made extra effort to make us comfortable. The car was great and ran well, and returning the car went smoothly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This rental company is the absolute worst. I’ve attempted to rent a car here twice. They are rude and scammy rental company. If the car you reserved is not available they charge you 4X the price for a marginally larger vehicle. Then they ask to block nearly $10,000 USD as a deposit. Stay away from this place. I also reserved a car online and it wasn’t available when I arrived so I had to wait hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid this business. My fiancé and I rented a car for a total of two days. We did the cheapest car for “40$” a day, but the most expensive insurance policy, full coverage for another 45$ a day. When we return the car it turned out that someone had stolen the spare tire from the trunk. That’s sucks at least we payed a premium for better coverage though. Nope. Not covered. A roughly 200$ for two day rental has turned into over 500$USD. I would not recommend trusting this company. I asked “so if the entire car was stolen i would have been covered” “yes, it would’ve been cheaper”. I asked for the keys back and offered to go park it under a bridge for an hour, but he wouldn’t let me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I reserved a car at a rate of 53 use per day. Their policy is full tank out and full tank in. I was givin a somewhat dirty van with all the seats folded down and an empty tank. I asked the agent and he told me put 400 pesos in the tank. I did and the charged me for fuel. They also refused to give me the vehicle unless I put a deposit of 600 thousand pesos down. I have rental car insurance through my credit card and personal vehicle insurance. I didn't need a third policy. They claimed my card wouldn't go through. All in all I was charged 90 usd over. Never again.
Their Orbitz page claims 750 thousand mxn peso insurance is included.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented a car ? for a 24 hour rental period. Everything was fine until we crossed through a police ? checkpoint. We got held up because we did not have the proper paperwork. I handed the officer my rental contract and my driver's license. It turns out the paperwork we needed was the picture ? attached. Which was never mentioned to me being in existence by the rental car agency. We were lucky to find this paperwork in the passenger seat glove compartment after 15 minutes. But had it not been there. We would have been detained overnight, & the car ? impounded. It would have taken 10 seconds of time for the rental car agency to inform me of this essential paperwork or of its existence. Upon returning the car, and inquiring why it was failed to mention this document to me. The response I received was "This is Mexico ??".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SCAM!!! We booked a car via Expedia. When we arrived to pick it up, the lady thief at the counter claimed that the reservation was actually not a reservation. Confused, we were then told that the car we had "not" reserved wasn't available and that the only option was a vehicle that costed three times more. After screaming and wasting precious vacation time, we rented a vehicle across the street.
