Flavors of Mexico - Costa Maya - 77940 Mahahual

We work in a cruise and we went for lunch there, when we asked for the bill they did not wanted to give it to us and just told us the price they wanted, once we pressure them to give us the receipt the price was different but they said they had to add taxes and even the manager agreed, of course we did not undestand because I'd did not sya on the receipt like Is usual everywhere else. I guess they were calculating their tip, they were rude and we would have given them more tip than the percentage they asked for saying it was taxes. Disappointed and would not recommended to any guest from the cruise ship.

Nicely decorated. Friendly waitstaff. Food was ok,,,,a little on the expense side. Bathrooms are on the outside.

Stopped in for a rest and a snack. I had the tacos dorados and a margarita. Nice place to have a snack and people watch.

Good Food, worth the wait! They are always busy! Just know you're going to have a wait so plan accordingly. The Guacamole was great and so fresh!

Very rude employees. We had to ASK to be seated, and then had to ASK if we could even order after we were ignored completely for 15 minutes. Once a server finally took our order, all he said was "what you want?", and brought us the wrong dishes TWICE.

We decided to try this place in the Costa Maya port. They have a small menu but it included some of my Yucatan favorites such as cochinita pibil. A dish that I find very difficult to find in the US. The food was good but the prices are quite high as expected. Service was alright here but it took a while to get the check as they were a bit busy. This place is definitely worth trying out if you're looking for something different after being on a cruise ship.

Some of the worse service that I've ever gotten anywhere in the Caribbean. This was our sixth cruise. I had to chase someone down to get our drink and food order in. The waiter dropped off the wrong order and ignored us when we tried to stop him. Then had to chase someone down to fix our order and then again to get the bill. Added a 20% gratuity for a party of 3 to our bill. Would not recommend this place to anyone. We saw several people get up and just leave due to the wait. They seem very "selective" in who they wanted to take care of first.

Small heaven in Caribbean. With delicious food, nice climate, beautiful sea view and comfortable stay around the pool in Port area. Lots of shops and local atmosphere
