Esta fuente de cabezas de serpientes se localiza en uno de los barrios mágicos del sur de la Ciudad de México, en Mixcoac, su nombre significa “lugar donde se venera a la serpiente de nube”. Este reptil es parte importante de la identidad del lugar, el cual cuenta con su propia estación del Metro, cuyo diseño fue hecho por Lance Wyman y representa una serpiente. Este gran monumento consta de ocho cabezas de serpientes, entre las que destaca el gran tamaño de una de ellas, ya que tiene alrededor de ocho metros de altura. Para su construcción se utilizó piedra de cantera y 540 metros de jardín, donde se plantaron tres palmeras. Esta fuente es una de las 42 que existen en la delegación. En las avenidas Revolución y Mixcoac, se encuentra la Fuente de las Serpientes, la cual tuvo un costo de 300 mil pesos.
