Garden Tulum - Tulum Beach

Una grata sorpresa en Tulum. Pedimos varios platos para compartir y estaba todo realmente bueno. Un lugar agradable, con una excelente atención y platos de alta cocina. No se puede pedir más. Probablemente el mejor restaurante de Tulum para cenar en buena compañía.

Garden is a brand new restaurant located on the south end of the beach between Alaya Hotel & Matcha Mama and was, by far and wide, the absolute best experience of my trip. The food alone is utterly fantastic -- I enjoyed a delicious grilled shrimp risotto smothered with a heavenly burrata cream sauce. Our friends who had dined at Garden a day before our meal together came back for the Tuna Tartare, which they exclaimed was the best they'd ever tasted. The food is to die for, but somehow the impeccable service outranks it. When we were seated, we were brought a purse caddy -- a small but much appreciated gesture for three ladies who didn't want to plop their evening bags in the sand beside the table. And then there was our waiter. Regretfully, I did not get his name, but he completely shaped our positive experience. He was so engaged, considerate, thorough, and energetic. His positive energy made all the difference! We were there celebrating my birthday and Garden's staff went so above and beyond to make it a special experience. It began when a Mariachi Band waltzed into the restaurant and over to our table to serenade me with a beautiful rendition of "Happy Birthday." This alone was an amazing and unforgettable experience, but we soon learned that the band was friends of our waiter's -- he knew they were in the area and called them in, special-order style! I was so unbelievably touched by this generous and thoughtful act from an almost-perfect stranger. As if the band wasn't enough, I was later presented with a completely bespoke, off-the-menu dessert from the Executive Chef himself with "Feliz Cumpleanos Tori" written out on the plate, all while the DJ blasted Stevie Wonder's "Happy Birthday." I actually started tearing up at the end of the meal thinking about how much energy went into making my birthday meal at Garden a special experience. As I mentioned, our dinner here wasn't just our best meal of the trip, it was also our best overall experience -- which is really saying something! I will never be able to adequately express the love and gratitude I have towards this incredible staff and am encouraging EVERYONE I know to RUN to this place before it blows up!

Newest and finest addition to the culinary scenerie in Tulum. Mediterranean techniques, mexican flavours and the finest boho mood you’ll find in town. You’ll love the ambience, perfect for dinner and drinks. You won’t find a better octopus! By far my favourite dish at garden. Chef Simone has the best energy, if you are lucky enough to meet him!

Was craving a seafood pasta and decided on the shrimp asparagus risotto with buratta cream as per the other google user’s 5 star review of the dish. The risotto came out too hard and undercooked. Left feeling unsatisfied.
