Suele atender a la derechohabiencia afiliada a la misma o al programa "seguro popular", usualmente referidas de un centro de salud. El hospital se encuentra limitado en las especialidades que ofrece, siendo únicamente cirugía, medicina interna, ginecoobstetricia, pediatría y urgencias. No cuenta con unidades especializadas para pacientes muy graves, como unidad de cuidados intensivos.
 It is a 2nd level hospital belonging to the Ministry of Health. Usually attend to the right-of-law affiliated to it or to the "popular insurance" program, usually referred to by a health center. The hospital is limited in the specialties it offers, being only surgery, internal medicine, gynecoobstetrics, pediatrics and emergencies. It does not have specialized units for very serious patients, such as intensive care unit.
