Ginger Tulum

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Super clean, they have laundry service, bikes, tours available for booking ( Dos Ojos cenote), decent breakfast , very good location easy to get to any key locations, rooms are good size with comfortable beds, shower hot. Felt very at home here. Staff really amazing tho it needs to be repeated. Thank you !

This is my worst reservacion ever. When I booked 3 rooms for 2 days, I specifically said that I wanted it for 2 children and 2 adults. What they us was completely different, its false advertisement. Not to mention the attitude they have (you can see a glimpse of this in their response to me) when I explain how I paid for a DOUBLE ROOM and they gave me a room with one bed. One bed for 4 people labeled as a double room. Don't come here. And the pool is extremely small, nothing like the photos they show. Go anywhere else but here.

Giving a star only for its location and the decent staff. Being centrally located it is closer to Tulum Centro restaurants and the bus station. Staff was helpful, courteous and warm. Now, the negatives. THE BIGGEST OF THEM is that they themselves informed us that the hotel can hold the luggage safely before the check-in. BUT THE REALITY IS THAT THEY WILL KEEP YOUR LUGGAGE IN THE OPEN LOBBY (NO ROOM OR ANY LOCKED SPACE) AND THEY TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY OF LUGGAGE SAFETY. THAT WAS SUCH A BUMMER, we on the spot (in the open lobby) did our repacking and took out our important and expensive things. Secondly, do not book the hotel if you are a light sleeper. Our two nights went in vain. There was loud (as if the music is being played next door) music playing till 2-3 in the morning. Earplugs do not help. Third, NO ELEVATOR. We got the top floor and had to carry our belongings including the heavy luggage on the steps. We had to do up and down a number of times like to complain about their bad wifi or to take the iron or to refill the bottle of water. NO ROOM SERVICE AND NO PHONES IN THE ROOM SO ANY COMPLAIN OR ANYTHING YOU WANT YOU HAVE TO GO DOWN TWO FLIGHTS. Lastly, the wifi in the room was pathetic, it had no speed and rather was not working. The stay became such a struggle and it was so unpleasant that will never recommend.

Loved my stay at hotel ginger!! The staff was super nice and respectful. I slept fine and didn't mind the music. It was only loud on saturday, but didn't really bother me or disrupt my sleep. Breakfast they offered was great and housekeeping service was also great!

Ambience of the hotel is good. Breakfast was lovely, especially the Chilaquiles. They also lend you towels for taking to the beach, and they offer laundry services. Great staff. There was a pool, but it was rather tiny, and located right by the entrance where people pass regularly. We could hear people talking outside our door when they pass by, and some guests would bang their doors when closing it. It's not the fault of the hotel, but perhaps there could be a reminder to guests to be more mindful of the noise.

Stayed in Ginger hotel for five nights and had the best time. This small hotel is owned by a local couple and runs and feels like a big home of a big family. Their care for the environment is noticed through their policies, be it recycling or providing filtered water, from which they will gladly refill your bottle so you don't have to buy plastic. Staff was professional and very friendly and the service offered was personalized. They kindly gave us great recommendations on where to eat and what to do around. Room was very convenient and kept carefully clean despite being in a beach location.

Staff are really nice. Room is clean but very small and limited on amenities. Common area is nice. Feels more like a hostel than a hotel. Swimming pool is very tiny. Breakfast is just a little bit of fresh fruits and yogurt.

Spent 5 nights at the Ginger Service was great from beginning to end. I would recommend the Ginger right in the center of downtown Tulum Alot of stuff within walking distance beach only 10 minutes aways (They will give you beach towels) Great central location ?? Customer Service?????
