Golf Cart Rentals Prisma - 77400 Isla Mujeres

Place is located 5 blocks from where the ferry drops you off hard to find. We already had reservations for golf carts and when we got there they didn’t have our carts ready and we had to wait for gas. We over heard some people bringing back their golf cart due to mechanical issues. I would recommend renting from a different place maybe when you get to the island as there are a lot of places renting golf carts that looked in better condition.

Probably the worst golf carts on the island and of you break down after 5pm there is nobody to call. They would refund us any portion of rental and didn't seem to care less that their cart left our family stranded. 2 days after getting back to the US our credit card information was used to rent a hotel room. Prisma was the only place we used that specific credit card. This place is terrible with so many choices rent elsewhere.

Shady doesn't even begin to describe this group. The cart they rented me was filthy and disgusting not to mention very unsafe. It broke down four times in two days. Only in Mexico could a place like this keep doing business. The good news is that I finally learned my lesson and will never stay in ISLA again.

Reserved a large golf cart with 4 forward facing seats and when we got there all they had was a small run down golf cart with 2 forward and 2 rear facing seats in which the parking break did not work. We paid online for a large cart which was $15 more than the small cart, yet the worker argued with us about refunding the difference. It wasn’t until we threatened to have Amex cancel the whole transaction that he decided he would talk to a “manger” about our refund. We had to put rocks behind the tires every time we stopped since the break would not engage. There are many other cart rental companies on the island with much better equipment and customer service so do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere!!!

0 ⭐️‘s!! Worst golf cart place ever! Employees are so rude and don’t care about your concerns. They gave us a cart that had a bent key to lock it and the key broke off inside the lock and they said we had to pay 300 pesos for it! It’s not about the money it’s the fact that they expected us to pay for a damaged key lock. They don’t take care of their carts or locks at all. They sat and argued with me and mocked me. They tried to overcharge me and argued that it was Saturday when In fact it was Wednesday. We rented 2 from them for a week and had to return two times due to problems with carts. One cart had a flat tire because the tires are so bald. The steering columns are so faulty and unsafe and shake to where you think you will crash. Do not rent from this company! Beware. Taxis are great and can get you anywhere for 80 pesos ($4) we will use them from now on or walk.

Do not trust this company. Scammers! Reserved a triple seater golf cart before arriving on the island. They proceeded the payment right away. Upon arriving they told us there were no carts available. I told him I made a reservation on the website. He said “ it’s not working” I explained that is working in regard to taking payments and if there are no carts I will need a refund and he replied “NO refunds!” Same exact thing happened to another couple we were traveling with when they arrived. I sat in the office and took a pic of his license and told him I would report what had happened. Suddenly there was a golf cart available. (A tiny one that we had to squeeze people in. It was not the one in the picture that I paid for.) There are MANY golf cart rentals as soon as you get off of the ferry. I would suggest skipping this one and not booking a head of time. Other friends walked right in to some of the other places and got a much better cart without a reservation.

Worst cart rental ever. They have no respect for the customer and could care less if they rent you a lemon. Never rent from Prisma. I promise any other company is better. This could be you with no aaa
