Positive: I do not recommend this hotel/resort. The only person who I appreciated and had good interactions with was  the bellhop - he was wonderful. Airport transfer was free to the resort but had to pay $34 to get back to the airport which I was not aware Negative: Lots of confusion about making reservations for dinner. The concierge would tell us one thing and then the restaurant would say something different. The food was not good at all. No information about Covid testing before checkout we walked to a clinic.

Positive: The staff is INCREDIBLY kind and helpful! The resort is clean, the ocean view is beautiful!!! Make sure you visit the sister Olaris hotels while you are there. You have complete access to all 3. The buffet at Royal Solaris was yum! Negative: DO NOT book a room a day early and not check in that day. Your room will be sold to someone else. I came with family, they put us in different hotels because my room was sold to another customer. Its a complete scam how they work hotels here in Mexico.

Positive: Highlights were Bogavante restaurant, service by (poolside), (Bogavante and Cafe Solaris). The pool area was nice and relaxing with ocean views and convenient access to the room. We'd visit again at this price. Negative: - Posted online hours for some of the bars were not accurate. - We scheduled a room covid test with the front desk and they forgot to schedule it with the doctor. That wasted 2-3hrs of our morning. -Food other than Bogavante is pretty unremarkable.

Upon arrival the front desk lady (arlette) was very rude. Not only to me but I heard her be rude to a few people while checking in and I also witnessed her arguing with her coworker while I was still standing there. She told me her checkouts were more important so I needed to move to the side while filling paper work out. Then at 3 pm our two rooms that we booked 5 months in advanced for my family of six were not ready and couldn’t even be on the same floor even though we are two adults and four children. We asked for infant cribs about 6 times before they were delivered every time being told they were on their way. Room service was 1.5 hours or more wait time and they always forgot stuff. Reservations for dinner options have to be booked days in advanced and at the other hotel. They won’t even serve you outdoors without a mask. The gift shop worked told me she didn’t have any change and I couldn’t pay with my card because she was ready to close and go home even though it was TWO hours before their closing time. Over all the service was awful! But wait staff was pretty nice and housekeeping was good.

The staff is friendly and accommodating. Over all the food is good. The only issue I had was that on the menu when it listed beef tenderloin, it ended being flank steak. Those are 2 totally different meats which everyone knows that. When people order beef tenderloin they expect a tender, and juicy piece of meat. Its kind of being untruthful. On the bright side their cream soups are great and alot of their chicken dishes are delicious.

Positive: Pool and beach are both clean and well maintained. Excellent service from staff. Food and drinks were reliably good, but not great. Several different restaurants to choose from. Mask-wearing and other COVID safety measures taken seriously. Negative: Several amenities, such as tennis and mini-golf, were not available. We did not have Wifi in our room for the first day, and even after it was fixed, it was not reliable. The hotel corridors are very maze-like and loud late at night.

Positive: The location is perfect for a quick weekend trip, at only a 15 min drive from the airport. The beach was gorgeous. The pool is very nice! You can use the neighboring resort¿s pool as well. Each had a different vibe- Caribe was more chill Negative: Food was not high quality. The white wine was the worst I have ever tasted. Resort is primarily for families. They didn¿t seem to mind inconveniencing you by sending you to the neighboring hotel to pick up covid results and booking a transfer. Long lin
