GRANA B&B - 68000 Oaxaca de Juárez

The hotel is perfect but it is not made for sleeping and relaxing. It is imposible tô sleep because of the intense noise all night long and starting very early in the morning. Even with earplugs supplied, it is not possible. There is intense traffic in the street beside the hotel and absoluto no respectivo for silence. It really spoiled the experience of being there

OBSESSED WITH THIS PLACE! We booked the room with the tub and view to the plaza. I love every single detail on that room. The service was amazing and so was the breakfast. Centrally located. You can walk to all restaurants and bars, and you are steps from the santo domingo church. We honestly want to go back asap!

Gorgeous 16th built hotel, beautiful courtyard, professional service, breakfast is tasty. We have no complaints spending 4 nights here at Grana. Our room faces the courtyard so we have had no noise issues at night.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Small boutique hotel, attentive staff, great location within walking distance to the zocalo, but not so close. Straddles two main walking streets with plenty of shops and restaurants and close to the lovely square just north. Breakfast was delicious and authentic. Would definitely stay here again.

This may be the best boutique hotel my wife and I have ever stayed at. Our suite was large and beautifully decorated. The location is perfect...city center but not the busiest spot. Breakfast in the hotel's peaceful courtyard each morning was amazing (delicious egg dishes, excellent biscuits/bread, yogurt, cereal, coffee/tea and more)...all included in the price. All this is great, but what makes this an A++ experience is the staff. You are made to feel at home and the staff caters (quickly) to literally any need you have. Leo, Erica, Ali, Jhonathan and Paola are wonderful people and clearly care about making their guests feel special. Before we checked out, we already booked our return visit to Grana B&B for next year!!

I really wanted to love this hotel, as the decoration/interior is lovely. Breakfast is delicious and very nutritious. However, it’s extremely noisy. It doesn’t help that they don’t have curtains, so if you want to have the windows open (due to the hot weather), everyone outside can see you, the pollution is terrible and the noise of the cars super loud! Cars in Mexico love tooting no matter the time. The sink it’s inefficient, as it splashes everywhere as soon as you open it. There is no A/C.

I can’t say enough good things about the quality of this hotel and it’s staff. It far exceeded my expectations!! If you’re looking for high-end staff and service, perfect central location, authentic decor and a large delicious breakfast included, this is the place for you. I was most impressed by the staff’s politeness and constant availability to assist with all needs to ensure my stay was warm and welcoming. Each day, they offered help with arranging my activities, such as the wonderful temezcal experience, and even helped me find a local reputable tattoo shop. The staff speaks in English and Spanish, which was nice for me as I brush up on my Spanish skills again. Finally, the rooms are comfortable and spacious, as are the common areas. I loved the rooftop to soak in the city central activities and sunset comfortably. The thoughtful touches, such as local artisan decor and amenities like a tote bag to use while in the city were very special. The street noise others mentioned didn’t bother me at all when sleeping, and if there is any, it’s to be expected common noise of a centrally located accommodation. A really lovely place for individuals, couples and families.

This is the best B&B of Oaxaca. We’ve been many times to Oaxaca and since we discovered this place we try to come back every time (if there is availability). The location is perfect, only 2 min walking from the cathedral. The patio where all rooms are adjacent to is very well decorated and quiet. The beds are comfortable and the staff very friendly. The breakfast is included with many options (also for vegetarians) This place deserve for sure a 5 star review!
