★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent spot to have lunch after visiting Chichen Itza. It is a 7 minute drive from the parking of the Mayan archeological site.
Beautiful garden, peaceful, and delicious food. Not over priced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hi,
Please see below a very honest review of the hotel, positive and also negative.
The Garden area is beautiful and also in a very nice and welcoming condition. A big pool welcomes you to take a swim or sun bath. Also the main house is very charming and welcoming. The restaurant serves good food with also considering a touristy place ok prices.
The resort is very nature focused, which i recognise as very positive and supportive. But we had to sign a waiver which prohibits guests to consume or carry any food or drinks such as water to your room. The hotel says to keep away bugs and animals. That makes sense and we agree with.
The staff emptied our fridge in the room with our sandwiches we bought for a day trip and also water and beer gave us the feeling of attending a middle school holiday camp. They said we will receive our food back when we check out.
We where also thinking of having lunch at the resort, but the hotel concierge told us we should come back in an hour, due to the fact several tourist buses where coming to have lunch.
WiFi is only working in the public area. Not in the rooms.
The rooms are very rustic and nature connected. Which brings your room to live especially when you are not best friends with spiders and other bugs (dead or alive). The Mold in the shower is also not very attractive.
The direct connection to Chichén Itza is closed and also the morning sunrise tour.
Otherwise all good and I wish you a pleasant stay

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Haciënda Chichen is well worth the trip. We loved our stay there! The beautiful setting in nature (waking up from the noise of the birds), fantastic food in the restaurant, very kind and helpful staff and a comfortable cabin, all added to the experience. Off course Chichen Itza is the must-do visit when you are there ( ;-) ). As this is around the corner of the hacienda; go as early as possible to avoid the biggest crowds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing resort. The service and staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The food was delicious. The cocktails are great and pour strong. You must swim in the pool in the evening, the bats fly down to get the bugs that hover over the pool. It’s pretty entertaining. Our room was a delight; it was clean, cool, spacious, the shower was great. All around great getaway, highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hacienda Chichen is a beautiful and authentic resort. The site has a lot of interesting history and ruins of its own. The rooms are simple and comfortable- everything you need. The pool is magnificent and clean. The grounds are very well kept and the foliage is amazing. The restaurant was nice- the food was good and the service was kind. Yes, the prices are high for Mexico but they're reasonable for American/Canadian standards and the experience is unforgettable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best of the hotels near by hands down. The service and attention to detail at this hotel are refreshing and abundant. The room was kept clean when we would arrive from our excursions to near by towns and architectural wonders. The gourds of the hacienda are kept also very well maintain although being around for a long time. The history of this place is quite charming. The restaurant is pretty amazing although not offering as many more local or traditional dishes, having said that, you must try the pollo con mole poblano, very tasty. I highly recommend this place for its unique location, it’s history, amenities, great food, and excellent services.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an absolutely amazing hotel! A true piece of history in the most beautiful surroundings. Palm trees full of birds of so many varieties. We sat by their peaceful pool watching a toucan eating in the overhead date palms.
And the food was superb. Delicious and beautifully presented!
We only spent 1 night there but will definitely stay longer next time

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent two nights here to celebrate our honeymoon and we weren't disappointed. On the contrary, this resort immediately felt like a home. Staff is friendly, caring and flexible. We received a free upgrade from honeymoon room to master suite. The cleaning lady left a towel swan in our room and my wife loved it! Breakfast was excellent and you have a lot of choice. Dinner was perfect. This accommodation also has a big pool. Very close to Chichen Itza. Highly recommended!
