Hacienda El Santuario San Miguel de Allende - 37700 San Miguel de Allende

It was a very central location, just off the main square. Rooms were large and as our AC stopped working, the manager upgraded us to a family room ...a 2 bedroom suite. The manger was very efficient and apologized profusely about the ac not working. He himself helped us move our stuff. I would highly recommend this charming hotel!

Beautiful small and traditional hotel with an incredible collection of artisan artifacts all around the hotel. Very friendly staff. Try to avoid rooms that are directly adjacent to the restaurant as they play music all day, which can be annoying if you want to sleep late.

I went in with friends as a tourist and was treated like a guest... Staff was super friendly and accommodating. The hotel is beautiful and teeming with artwork. I'll recommend it to all of my friends as 'the' place to consider when they come to SMA

Service was good, location excellent walking distance from plaza center, just rooms were small but nice and clean.

This super cute hotel is pet friendly for the restaurant and some of the rooms. However, for the rooms they only accept small breeds (not sure max weight but our dog is a 42lb labradoodle and that’s too big). But you can still enjoy the restaurant and various cute courtyards. Def stop by if you are walking in this part of town. Oh and the aguas frescas were delicious ?. Pictured: Bougainvillea aguas frescas ?

Look no further. This is a quiet location, no traffic sounds, the only sounds you hear are the couch bells. Some of the best coffee I have ever had. Staff gos above and beyond to insure you are taken care of. From calling cabs, and translating. You can't walk 10 feet without being greeted with a sinsear smile and a hola. This place is so hospitable I moved my wedding rehearsal dinner here after we checked out. Seriously the feeling of vulnerability melted away the second we where greeted.

The location of this hotel is excellent and the beds are comfortable. A few customer service issues that they didn’t tell us there was a restaurant on the property until we were leaving and I’m not sure how they are a spa since they have one room that they use for an outside contractor that comes in. No big deal but just a miss. Patio was also a nice touch.

Unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel. It looks nice in the photos, and indeed the patios and common areas are charming, however the rooms were not worth the price of the hotel. We were a group of 5 people in three rooms. My room was noisy, very small, and we ran out of hot water after a 5 minute shower. The carpet was old, musty, and had a big wet patch. There was no hand soap or body wash. The second room for the other people in my party was not ready at 4 pm, despite check in being at 3 pm, and we had dropped our bags off at 1 pm. The third room had not been cleaned properly and there were hairs on the bathroom floor. It was not stocked with soap either. Additionally, two of the rooms were located far from the lobby, which would not be suitable for people who couldn’t handle lots of steep staircases. All of this was a real shame because the hotel is beautiful, and the breakfast food and service was very good. However, for the price of a night’s stay, all of these issues were not acceptable.
