Recommended. The chocolate is really good, especially the little marshmallow / truffle (25 pesos each). Try the maricuya one. It is superb. The tour is 100 and includes free sampling. Good service.

The tour at the hacienda was very informative. The guide was knowledgeable about flora and fauna. It was great to see the monkeys on the plantation, as well as the vanilla, cocao trees and a variety of plants and trees indigenous to Tabasco. Well worth your time, either as a tour by itself or combined with the nearby Comalcalco pyramids.

Right from the entrance, you will gather the smell of cocoa being elaborated. This is the home the Bombon of Maracuya an award winning creation which won in Paris and New Work. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the Hacienda with a huge history. It started to operate from the 20's.

Guys with good intentions. I had a good time but they have a big room for improvement. In general the conditions of the Hacienda are average, I realized that many places were not cleaned for years. It's not the same visit and old place than a abandoned one or tending to that.

We had a great time at this place! The tour guide was awesomely nice, explained everything and responded all our questions! The tour includes the cacao plantation, the fabric/museum aaand a chocolate drink! It was not only super interesting but really tasty! After one hour we were full of new facts and super delicious chocolate! I would totally recommend this visit to everyone!

I wanted to participated at the 1pm tour, but I missed it because my collectivo had an accident. I went to the hacienda the same day and asked for the tours on the next day and if I need reservation. The guy just told me i should appear 10min earlier and thats fine. I took myself a room in the city because it was not worth going back and forth to villahermosa again. I arrived the next morning at 9am and they told me they wont have any tours for the day and I should come tomorrow again! Huge waste of time and money!! I cannot recommend any traveller to comer here as they change schedule as they want!!

We got a private tour from the granddaughter of the man who originally built the hacienda. Really interesting to hear all about how the cocoa is grown and processed into chocolate. If you want a tour in English call one day ahead to book it, but the Spanish tour is also excellent if you know at least a little bit of Spanish.

They have a 1.5 hour long tour for 350 pesos. You see various plants and get to enter the factory. There is a wee visit at the museum too. They have monkeys! Bring mosquito repellent - you’ll be eaten alive. It was good, but I enjoyed the other hacienda tour better (Jesus Maria).
