Hacienda Xcaret - 77730 Tulum

Simply amazing place, certainly the best I experienced around the world.

Found this paradise on VRBO. Geat place. Hosted by a friendly young couple with two young kids. Perfect if you have a car. If not, i would advise going somewhere else, unless you plan to spend all your time at Xcaret park, which is at walking distance (we could hear the ziplines from our terrace!). Otherwise, the setting and the rooms are simply beautiful and well maintened. The hosts even put in some beers and milk in the fridge prior our arrival!! This is a very relaxing spot, with lots of vegetation, a nice pool and places to rest and enjoy the sun. You're in the jungle but close to everything. We could hear the cars on the main road but the jungle setting makes you forget everything else. For animal lovers. Hosts have 3 friendly dogs and a lovely cat. Spider monkeys paid us a visit every single evenings we were there. This place is a good alternative to an appartment in playa del carmen. Would go back anytime.

Amazing place! Middle of the jungle and secluded, a little hard to find but so worth it! Walking distance to Xcaret, Xplor and Xenses!! Highly recommend...oh and you'll see an occasional monkey lizards and iguanas, so cool!!

The hotel is in the middle of the jungle. Customer service was good. The distance to xcaret park is very close. The reason for 3 stars is because the prices they have online are not the same as the actual prices. And also getting there is kind of tricky, if you don't know you may get lost very easy. I recomend calling when you get there. Other than that everything was good.

The pictures dont do justice of the oasis you encounter here!! The response of the owner was prompt! The hospitality went above and beyond our expectations!! We felt extremely safe. Owners are fluent in English. And YES!! Wild monkeys frequent the property twice a day. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to live like a local in a resort type environment (minus the all inclusive food & beverage) THANK YOU GLEN, ESTER, AND SKIP for making us feel so welcome! W-O-W, that was our first impression at check-in, and our final thoughts at check-out. This place is truly paradise! I mean, the design of the property, the garden areas and the individual lavish suites speak for themselves - but on top of that the hospitality is what truly made our weekend dreamy. Even before we booked out weekend Glen was quick to answer all of my questions, and that attentiveness and care continued after the booking and through the weekend. We did a couple's photo shoot on the location to celebrate our anniversary, and the property owners were very accommodating of our request, ensuring that our shoot was undisturbed and magical. They even helped me coordinate a special supper to be delivered to the hacienda from the city. That's 5 star hospitality! You'll find the location quite and relaxing, the beds are comfortable, the water pressure in the shower excellent, and the kitchen in the studios fully stocked - but you'll likely most remember the attention to detail of all the decor in the property! The pool is fresh and clean, and the trees provide lots of shade from the hot sun. There's plenty of parking for your own vehicles, and plenty of chairs, loungers and benches on the property to read a good book :) If you're lucky, a family of monkeys will stop by to check out what's going on; they put on a show in the trees for us every day during breakfast. I just can't say enough good things about this magical property. If you're okay not staying at a beach property (this property does not have direct beach access) and not staying in Playa Del Carmen, then this is seriously the most amazing, unique choice - and it will surely live on in your memories as one of the best places you've ever stayed (it has for us!). What a beautiful hotel , we felt loved and welcomed here . Definitely going back . The owners were excellent and took care of our every needs . Extremely helpful, they went above and beyond for us . Am truly grateful to them on finding hair and makeup for my daughter’s Quinceañera. Great location near all the amazing parks .
