★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything is ok!
But we couldn't find the power sockets.
The lack of parking lot is a pain for large groups.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ spent a week in oaxaca and stayed at happy express. i booked a junior suite, but found that the noise, late night and early morning, and the lights from the street to be unsatisfactory. went down to the main desk and owner and his son were there. explained my problem and although they were totally booked, they aid to pack our bags and we'd have a room off the street when we returned from our tour. when we returned we had a nice quiet room overlooking the patio. rooms are small but we just slept there, so fine. one thing is very limited storage. there are 2 nightstands and a desk all with no shelves or drawers and very limited closet space. so you mostly live out of your suitcase. a little more functionality would be nice. even shelves in el baño would help.
but over all it was an excellent location near zocalo and el mercado. about 3 blocks each. rooms were clean and affordable. next year we'll be back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed at this relatively new hotel for two months. It’s located close to Zocalo, the historic city center, and Mercado Benito Juárez. Almost all the tourist spots are within a walking distance. The rooms are clean and spacious with a separate bath room that gives you hot shower anytime, and what’s more, they have a kitchen and a dinning room, though they don’t offer complimentary breakfast. You can also enjoy breakfast and lunch of your own cooking in their beautiful patio.
The hotel crew are very helpful, and one of them speaks very good English. The room charges are very reasonable. Good both for your stay on business and tourism.
