★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was amazing. I don’t really review review haircuts or food type services but this was unbelievable Puma and Daniel are unreal. I got my cut from Puma and it was good enough to tip the price of the haircut. What blew me away was the professionalism, first the cleanliness level in a Covid environment was for nothing I’ve ever seen in Europe Canada or the US this was second to none. The rigour of the cut all the services they have and at the end of it of the haircut the electric hand massage is a must.
highly highly recommend these guys are and Bonus was San Antonio the street itself is a huge pleasure to walk along. Out of the touristy centre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ignacio, the man with the fab mustache, is manager of Hecho Hombre, is knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. Jonathan and Edgar are amazing to watch. Both master stylists. Men's super modern cuts and hair care. Some beautiful women's products, too. All products are locally made!!! Appointments are needed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was probably the best haircut of my life, and I go to a pretty upscale barber in Manhattan. It’s not just the haircut itself, which was exactly what I wanted but also the shave, massage etc which make the whole thing pleasant rather than just an errand. If you don’t speak Spanish you’ll be sitting there in silence but that was fine by me!

I told him what I wanted, and for the next 45 minutes he worked his magic to give me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. I’m usually based in NYC, and to get this level of service would cost three times the price. Looking to relocate to SMA permanently, and it’s great to know it’s home to such an amazing barber!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good barbershop but they did not know how to cut African American hair. I am not a very hard cut with a bald fade but the barber was good but seemed afraid to just go for it. He didn't ask me if I wanted hom to line me up but a really decent hair cut with limited experience with my hair type.
