Zero star. Scam and Liar. They refused to honor my reservation although all cars were available. They claimed only have bigger cars which was 3 times more expensive than my reservation price. We saw all the reserved cars were available but they just wanted to sell more expensive one and was like scam and wanted to rip off travelers. Never trust this location. It’s such a shame, this kind of people make a bad reputation for all other honest Mexican workers.

Please do yourself a favour and don’t book from this location. I booked a car through Expedia and the total with taxes and collision coverage was $210 Canadian dollars. When I went to this location to pick up the rental, the guy was charging me $220 US dollars. He said we don’t recognize insurance from Expedia and you will have to buy our coverage (which covers 90% at most) for $47 USD. I told him I don’t want your insurance as I’m already covered; he said we’ll need a deposit of $6000 USD on your card. I told him to cancel the entire transaction after as I hate scammers. By then he had already charged me 24900 pesos on my card. I asked him for a refund and after calling several people; he said its done. I called my bank after and they said we don’t see a refund. I had to make another visit to this location to get my refund. I rented a car through Hertz as I thought its a global company and will have better customer service but I was wrong!

Rented a nice little 5speed fiat. Car was good, quick service. Was quoted $82 for two days and they charged me $92 but still cheaper than most the other gamers. Upon drop off they tried charging me for not having the tank at Full but corrected it after I noticed the error. No bogus charges. Overall happy. Watch yourself in Mexico!

Be AWARE. When I went to pick up the car, the guy at the counter first asked mt what type of insurance do I want, I said I only need additional liability and nothing else then the guy said we do not have any car left!! Although we had reservation with them and I called them a day before to confirm the reservation at but the guy at the counter said that we do not have any car at the moment. BUT He said if you get full insurance then I can get a car from other location for triple the price qoute which I reserved the car. I said No but what is the price for the car on the other location without insurance then without checking anything he said that car is gone and we do not have car, bunch of liers.

I have made a reservation for a car on Expedia. I booked a car for 2 days and I purchased Expedia car coverage. Price for 2 days was $107 USD, plus $22 in addition that gets charged at the time of the booking. Cost of the car which equals $107 doesn't get charged until pick up. I prepared very well before getting to the location, because I read the reviews, I also had friends coming to Cancun and having difficult situations when renting car. My reservation was for 8am, and I got there right after that time. I booked the cheapest car, because I don't car about it on this type of trip. However, first thing I was told is that my car is not available, but they have better car for me (which is basically two categories up). I was ok with that, until the moment I was told that I had to put $10,000 as a deposit because I don't want to buy their insurance. I was not happy about it, but I was willing to to it anyways. But when I agreed the lady at the counter said that my car is going to be $260 for those 2 day. I was like what are you talking about, and I showed my reservation with price. She started explaining how they don't have anything else available, but I said I don't care and that's not none of my business. She started talking to another guy, and all of a sudden he told her they have another car, which is basically category in between the one I rented and the one that she offered at first. Then she said that this option is going to cost me $170, which I rejected right away and said I was willing only to paid the amount that I booked. The all of a sudden that was possible, but she did charged me additional $20 credit card fee, which came up to $127 which was not terrible, but still not what I was supposed to pay. I spoke in Spanish, so I could understand everyone talking between each other, which was helpful. When I finally got to the car, we checked everything, marked all damages and we were good to go. The only reason they didn't get zero stars is because return was easy, they were nice, they gave me deposit back right there, including the receipt. They didn't try to trick me into having to pay any damages. Car itself was ok. There weren't any problems with it. I hope this review is going to help them change the way they do business.

I almost gave up the idea of renting a car after reading all the reviews on how all care rentals in Cancun are a scam. We went for Hertz as it is an international company. However, we expected to be played somehow, insurances forced on us or absurd excuses to charge us more. Nothing like that happened. We went there, got a car for a day, received the car in 10 min. Full coverage with 0% deductible and returned the car as easy as we got it. Super smooth experience, no scam. The people polite and professional. Hope this review helps someone as confused as I was. It is worth seeing the cenotes and the surroundings by car so do not give up on the idea of car. Try these guys :-)

10/10, the sales rep was extremely professional and didn’t push us to buy extra services. We got a fair price for 11 days (510usd) for brand new car with full coverage. I read a lot of bad reviews for car rentals in Cancun so If you’re planning to rent a car, you should vist this location. Best thing is just to vist and not buy anything online via a third party
