Never renting with Hertz again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve rented from hertz in other Mexican cities and usually a premium insurance is about $20-30 a day but they wanted $130 a day. Since I had prepared my vehicle for the week I was stuck having to pay the outrages cost. Premium insurance for the week was $900 plus the cost of rental. Crooks

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be careful!! They will steal your money... And ask you for "MEXICAN INSURANCE" and the price you pay will double up.... The prices in the website DON'T MATCH THE PRICES IN THE AIRPORT!!! you pay online and the when you get to the rental place at the airport they come up whit YOU NEED MEXICAN INSURANCE and the rental price will increase by 60$american dólars a day in my case was almost 1000$dolars more very big surprise!!!.... In my opinion they are very dishonest... SAFE YOUR SELF THE INCONVENIENCE and rent somewhere else

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First all big names like hertz, avis etc. are under AVASO mexican company. If you didn't purchase insurance online, u will deal with avaso and will have them insurance prises witch are much higher and on top of that with 41% - 45.4% (depends u pay credit or debit card)TAX.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please avoid renting at hertz in Cancun! We speak fluent Spanish and they pulled a fast one on us. Dealing with the authorities. Do not rent a car just use the Ado Bus - there is an app and it’s easy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good services. Prices were a bit high (55-60usd/day with all-in insurance)for a Chevrolet Onix) but there were no hidden costst. I recommend you take the insurance if you dont want to be surprised. We actually damaged one of the rims and had to pay nothing. Also, unlimited mileage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I feel confused why Hertz told me they don’t have cars for renting. I made the reservation 4days ago, everything was totally fine (We received email and confirmation number). When we arrived at Hertz, they told me our car is parking at airport, we need to wait 3hrs to get my car. Obviously, they don’t want to rent car for me. They are liars. we lined up outside for a very longe time，and they told me they don’t have a car. What a stupid！Please don’t rent car from this Hertz, don’t waste your time!
