Great hotel, great view, Victor is very nice and hospitable. I enjoyed the breakfasts and swimming in the pool while watching the ocean. You can walk to town on a path that sort of goes through the jungle, but is safe and a quick walk, make sure you take a flashlight if you're planning on returning after dark. I definitely recommend this place.

Good people work here and good people stay here. The view is astounding. Victor is the sweetest host, he looks after people like he loves them. The staff are beyond sweet, lets just say that when I asked if anyone ate the sea urchins that populate the waters of the small rocky beach directly below the hotel, I came back that same evening to see a bucket of live urchins which were then prepared for us. Eduardo had fished them out himself for me. We ate them on new years eve overlooking the splendor of the ocean. It cannot be bested!

Heven, really is Heaven on a hill. From the moment you walk into this beautiful hotel, you feel transported and like you've happened upon a treasure that is truly special. The architecture is stunning, and our room was an exquisite design of Mexican charm. Victor took such wonderful care of us; we had beautiful breakfasts every day and he gave us excellent recommendations of beaches and restaurants to check out for perfect day adventures and dinners on the beach. We couldn't be more grateful to have stayed here - it was my first time to Mexico personally, and every detail of this stay made for a perfect memory. Victor also gave us the information for organizing a taxi from the airport which made getting there super easy. Thank you Victor for a lovely stay - to everyone reading this, definitely book Heven for a perfect vacation on the Oaxacan coast.

This is really a wonderful place. We were lucky to be able to book a room for three nights but we wanted to stay forever. The view is amazing and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Wow… is the first word that comes to mind. We stayed in San Miguel, which has stunning views of Playa Zipolite. To Carlos, and all the staff that made our stay comfortable thank you. My highlight was reading by the beautiful pool, after a home cooked breakfast.

My partner and I had a truly incredible stay at Heven! The grounds were immaculately kept, the rooms were beautiful and clean, and the views from the pool and seating area were INCREDIBLE! Breakfast was included in our stay, and the food was delicious and filling. Our host Victor was very accommodating and willing to provide us with suggestions for outings and food, as well as make reservations for us as needed. Heven is located about 10-15 minute walk from the Zipolite beach, so there really was no need for a car (we had one but didn't end up using it most days). The rooms don't have A/C, but honestly it really wasn't necessary as most nights there was a breeze that kept you cool enough (and the windows have screens so you can leave them open all night). Just one note: there are A LOT of stairs (both within Heven itself and along the walk to the beach). I imagine this could be a challenge to deal with if one has issues with mobility.

This is where you want to be! Victor and his team are just wonderful, attentive and very kind! Property is well cared, our room was clean and comfortable, and the soaking pool offered a spectacular view! Such a great place! We will be back!!!

Heven is a revelation and beyond memorable, a stunning setting with a great host and staff. The accommodations are spacious, super comfortable, very well maintained and private… a personal oasis. I intend to return as often as I’m able.
