Bar was overpriced. And the entire place smelled like raw sewage. Better off going to the Bahamas. Same prices but cleaner beaches, better food, and better customer service.

Beautiful Island! Definitely recommend the day trip from Riviera Maya. The boat trip across to the island was great fun (be prepared to get wet!) We saw lots of different birds including the beautiful flamingos. We had a golf buggy trip around Holbox with 2 guides and this was so much fun. We enjoyed lunch in 1 of the hotels opposite the stunning beach and afterwards went into the beautiful shallow, clear water. We tried out the hammock and swinging chair in the water and have never laughed so much!! It was very interesting to walk around the island taking in the shops and the local art on the buildings. Going back to the mainland was on a bigger boat and not as much fun as the little fishing boat! If you get the chance to go for a day trip, it was well worth it. If they stop at Passion Island, don't bother getting off the boat unless you would like to get bitten by mosquitoes really badly!

A beautiful Mayan living experience. We had a suite facing the Back and it was beautiful. It felt like a tree house in the jungle.
