Spacious rooms that are well designed and comfortable. I greatly enjoyed my stay here and would recommend the hotel based on the value provided, alone. The breakfast was delicious along with great service from Elena really made me feel cared for! I went in the rooftop pool only once but felt so relaxed up there. Like most hotels there was some noise and the construction of the hotel does allow it into the rooms so bring some earplugs if required and you will sleep well, like I did. Thank you to all the staff here for working together to give me a great stay??

Nice clean rooms, good breakfast options, close to lot of local eatouts and the famous walk street in Playa Del Carmen.

Very impressed with the friendly service provided from the Manager by greeting you by name in the morning to Antonio and Elisia doing the same and knowing what to serve you. I also noted that the young lady cleaning rooms always said hello if you met in the hallway. The hotel is very clean.

1. Premium location. Right beside a bank with an ATM, walking distance to 5th Ave, restaurants, bus stations and a Walmart. 2. Awesone breakfast. The breakfast exceeded our expectation. Hot local cuisines were made fresh and they were delicious. 3. Welcoming staffs. Although speaking English may be a bit challenging, the staffs were very friendly and willing to assist even the tasks were not standard. The first morning we only brought one voucher so my wife was waiting at the breakfast area while I went upstairs for the other one. The gentleman named Francisco in charge of the breakfast operation sensed my wife may feel unfomfortable standing there, he proactively and friendly walked my wife throgh the serving area and introduced every dishes and drinks to her. This truly defined what service is and we felt so welcomed. The only thing yet to be improved was the room smelled a little musty when we just checked in but we can understand given the humid environment and the smell was gone quickly after running ac for sever hours. Will surly come back if we visit Playa again.

Great affordable option, room is spacious and clean. Breastfast is included, only thing you have to get a number and get for your number to choose from the breakfast buffet options. It could take a while to get freakfast, but they have many options!

The room was very comfortable, the stuff was very nice and the pool on the roof was lovely with a sea view. The only thing that bothered me is that we could hear the neighbors in the next door: their baby crying, their hair dryer, their kids in the morning... And another thing is that the neighbor from the other room was smoking in the shower (i guess because only in the shower there was no smoke detector) and it was a nightmare because all the smoke somehow arrived to our room! Every morning and every night my hair started to smell like cigarette because of it! I complained to the reception few times, they sent someone to check it but nothing as been done... I hope for next times they will take it more seriously.

We had a very enjoyable vacation at the Holiday Inn Express. The front counter gentlemen were very helpful and courteous. The room was very clean and the bed super comfortable. The breakfast was excellent; Antonio was friendly and very efficient as our server. Would highly recommend this hotel and location was near the main street.

Just got back from a late May vacation and stayed at a all inclusive for 3 days and here for 7 days. Didn't have plans to stay but because of most of the staff and the location we decided to stay there the rest of the time. If we go back this will be a hotel we would strongly consider staying at again. The staff does a heck of a job. Antonio the security/car check out man was just so pleasant and very good at communicating even though I just started to learn Spanish on this trip and he didn't know English. The cleaning staff was so good at taking care of what they could take care of in the room. I don't like giving 5 stars cause that suggests perfection or anything close. It wasnt anything close to perfect but the staffs effort to make our stay a good one was really appreciated. Location was really good.
