★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can speak highly of the service, the octopus ceviche, the traditional nachos with arrachera, the shrimp and cheese stuffed poblano, the guacamole and the banana fritters. Al was uber fresh, and I am particular; everything hit the mark. Wear your swimming clothes and go down the kiddie slide into the cenote.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As cenotes go in the Tulum area Rancho Santa Maria is a cut above the rest. This is no water park tourist attraction, it is a clean, relaxing escape from busy downtown. The staff is friendly, making and serving great food and drinks. Come here to relax and enjoy a peaceful afternoon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shhhhh. Don’t tell anyone but this place is truly one of Tulum’s hidden gems. Fresh seafood with savory Mexican and Mayan seasonings. Staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Glorious setting in the jungle with tables surrounding a cenote. Come for the pescado and stay for a swim!
