★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nurses had a attitude, the Doctor didn’t even spell my name right even when I gave her my ID she really didn’t do anything . Just gave me pain medication pills and inflammation pills. And said it was nothing .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I had problems in breathing so i went to the hospital. Although nobody speaks English they helped me so much. Dr. Ingrid Maricruz Sanches Moreno was like an angle . I was in a hurry to catch a flight and she took care of me. I can only thank her from the bottom of my heart

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in Bacalar as a tourist and arrived to the hospital after becoming very ill from food poisoning (coming from Tulum). I was taken in quickly, given an actual exam by the doctor, and received kind and thorough medical care thereafter. This was all in the context of me speaking barely any Spanish, and staff being patient enough with me to go back and forth on google translate. I am a clinician myself in the US, and I feel I got some of the best care in this small community hospital. No fancy monitors or electronic charting; just competent, caring people. Thank you to the clinicians and staff for helping to ease my fears and get me on my feet again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My girlfriend and I had a scooter accident on 12th of February and were therefore brought to the Community hospital in bacalar. Everyone took care of us so well and we are very thankful for the medical treatments they gave us. My girlfriend had to be sewn in the face with 12 stitches and they did it so well, that literally every doctor we visited so far, in Mexico as well as in Germany, told her that they have done such an awesome job. Of course the crash was a horrible experience for us and ended our vacation painfully but it could be way worse and we are so thankful for the people in the hospital and the ambulance. Thanks for taking such good care and helping us out so well.
