★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The staff will lie to you and steal your money they make promises and don't deliver on them. Also the bed bugs here were the worst and I'd often come back to sleep at night here to find someone else sleeping in my bunk! The criminals working there double book and pocket the money... they also say they offer surf lessons etc and then they don't show up and say you missed the lessons and wont pay you back.... this place May of been good in the past but it's not now... fire the staff there they are a bunch of crooked criminals!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have to say the 'Dorm' is pretty bazzare, being that's it's essentially located in the hallway. The walls here don't touch the ceiling so if there's some noisy people, you'll know about it. I found the staff to be very unfriendly and not super helpful, definately not what you'd expect from a hostel. Good showers and good internet and excellent chill out lounge upstairs. Not a party hostel and is usually pretty quiet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apparently, the personnel here are argentinians and they don't serve Mexicans as well as Americans or Europeans, plus they were very noisy all day long and even past sunset. Plus the place stinks of cigarette and it's actually they who keep smoking all day long. The phone rings at the middle of the night and there's nobody to answer it and it annoys the hell out of you. Wouldn't recommend at all

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super nice folks here, I really enjoyed them. I spent 2 weeks here while working remotely. I've stayed in maybe 60 different hostels so far in my life. Ok that scale, it's just okay. The beds aren't wonderful, the roosters next door kept me up every night and there isn't much in the way of amenities. In San Pancho though, they're probably the best bet in town. They're far from the beach (in small town terms) but the bikes make it a 5min pedal, and you aren't kept up late by pounding music. They always had hot water and the place is always clean. I'd stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good location, quiet, excellent friendly personnel. The room was pretty, comfortable. There is a home nearby that seems to be breeding roosters, so it's quite loud. You get used to the sounds, but it's definitely annoying. Also found bedbugs which i had to remove from my body!!! I told the people at the front desk and one of the cleaning lady who listened and seemed genuinely concerned and said they were going to take care of the this. I was in room 4.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hostel was great - besides the amenities and the pricing I have to say my favorite thing about my stay was how much attention to detail was provided by the amazing staff. I think it is the people who make a business great and for me it was Yazmin. She took very good care of me. On the map Hostel San Pancho looks like its far from everything but it's really not. It's just a short walk to the beach and on the way you see all the highlights that this little surf town has to offer. Would highly recommend.
