Cozy place with a good smell in the rooms (unlike all the rest of San Cristobal) Stream in the shower and hot water 24/7 ..

We have been to several hostels in San Cristobal, but it is the most successful and beautiful of them all !! A magical place with good people, good price, always hot water and amazing view

I have the opportunity to work remotely and being in this wonderful place was incredible. The attention I received from all the staff was exceptional and within walking distance of the zócalo and walkways. Excellent value for money! I hope to come back soon

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, staff and atmospheric property. Also a great value for the price (and the water was nice and hot! Just be sure to shower at the end of the day rather than in the morning as I believe it’s solar panel heated). It ~is~ cold in San Cristobal this time of year but they provided a nice blanket on request which helped with the chill! Can recommend Hostal La Providencia for the budget minded traveler without hesitation.
