★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good hostel with nice rooftop. Unfortunately the wifi is quite bad and you need to be afraid to get your head hurt by the fan when climbing your bunk. Should be changed in my opinion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hostel is a joke. The guy in the reception is so rude. When I asked if he could fill my water bottle he just looked at me and said “not really”. He then said I have to PAY for the water, the hostel doesn’t even have a kitchen, it’s a shame to make your guests pay for the water, never happen before.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I made a 2 nights reservation, on my second day i came back in the hostel after a long day out, and there was somebody else in my bed. All my luggage was gone, and it took an hour before i got everything back. Then i wanted to checkout and they said You didnt pay (but i payed already on my check in). So i said, i will not pay twice, and the guy of the hostel said, okay we’re gonna call the police. So i paid twice because i didnt had time for that

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would not at all recommend staying there, there are many better options in Valladolid.
They charged us 20€ extra after we had arrived for “local taxes”. Our problem with this wasn’t the charge per se but that nothing about this was mentioned in our booking confirmation and that we found this very intransparent and deceiving. When we tried to talk to the owner about this, he wouldn’t listen to us at all, he interrupted us constantly and was very rude and condescending. He wanted to explain to us “how taxes work” and claimed that this is common practice when we never had such additional charges anywhere before in Mexico (or anywhere else in the world for that matter). The truth is that they don’t include these charges in their prices on Booking/hostelworld because they don’t want to pay more commission to these sites, plain and simple. Regardless of who’s right or wrong here, the owner is a piece of work and obviously doesn’t know how to speak to people politely. He doesn’t care about his guests and it shows. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere as there are other great options in Valladolid.
Also, it was super noisy at night and the running water smells like gasoline.
I give two stars because the room was clean and the location is good which I guess…is something.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best hostel in the city, excellent location, excellent staff, it has a swimming pool and a terrace with a kitchen where you can enjoy the sunset and the night with friends.
Also at reception they give you all the information on the various places to visit such as Chichén Itzá and cenotes, they have scooter and bike rentals, as well as tours to different destinations which you can share with friends.
Super recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful styled hostel and really nice staff. The A/C remote control is inside the shared room during the night.
The included breakfast is so so.
It would be nice, if drinking water was provided.
In one shared room are only 2 power outlets altogether for 6 beds.
You have to put on and put off the bed sheets by yourself.
The blue towel had big white spots.
The curtains in the sleeping room could be more darkening for sleeping in the morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hostel is just a couple blocks away from the ado bus station which was great!
On the right hand side is the main road with all the cafe and restaurants which is awesome it being so close.
The hostel reception was great. They have lots of tours, and laundry available.
They booked us a scooter which we picked up outside the hostel. It’s very spacious. There is a large pool in the back, lots of seating area. It’s a really nice set up hostel. Not a huge kitchen, defs need more things to add to it. Can’t really use it if it’s busy. But our stay was great!
It was very clean

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our stay started with a pleasant surprise of such wonderful, attentive staff. The room size (double private room) was impressive, with cold air-conditioning and a very comfortable large bed. The bathroom was great, but the only room fault was that the hot water (steaming) smelled like gasoline, or kerosene, quite strong at times.
The location to town was great. Two nights out of the 4 we were kept awake at 12am and 2am with party-goers on the roof, but hey, I'm on holidays, so no real biggy, but it may be a detraction for others.
