★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel Acantilado is a nice hotel on a small town, it has an amazing view of the sea, and that includes the view at the border of their pools, the hotel is constructed on the side of a mountain, to get to the rooms you need to walk through some stairs, but it's worth the effort. Climate is humid and hot, but the rooms have air conditioner, and the service is pretty nice, they have room service and you can also order food to the pool, and the menu has variety, from hamburguers and hot dogs, to "tacos governador", shrimp tacos, and octopus tacos, there is also "pasta Alfredo" on the menu, and beef. Beds are comfortable, we were told that the owner of the hotel exports beds, so quality is guaranteed. Overall a really nice experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would stay here again! The staff is incredibly lovely. It’s clean. Breakfast is included and the price is super. It is a long trek to get here, but when you do you are steps away from the calm, little beach in Tehuamixtle and a short drive from Mayto, which is worth the trek (but too dangerous for swimming).
