The AC was broken and in October with humidity it feels like 97 degrees during the day. Most of the day I was out but it’s nice to be able to go back and get a reprieve for an hour but I didn’t have that option. I messaged them after two nights to see if they would give me a discount if I were to stay my last night but no response. It’s disappointing. Breakfast that was included was pretty solid and on-site staff were friendly.

Beautiful experience, came with my husband to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. Jungle style experience, hobo decor the honey soap and lotion was so nice too. No tv, no loud music perfect for resting hours. Walking access to the beach, Day and night guard at front gate. We were welcome with a smile and front restaurant loco Tulum was delicious for breakfast and service delightful. We for sure will return, thank you for making it a wonderful experience at an affordable cost we appreciate every single employee and their wonderful welcoming smile.

My husband and I chose Casa Coyote in Tulum Mexico as our honeymoon accommodations the 3rd week of October 2021, not only were we extremely disappointed we got very sick from the lack of cleanliness that essentially ruined our entire honeymoon. Like most tropical countries, the drinking water was not safe from the tap and the room did not come with any complimentary bottled water. The only clean water offered was on the scorching hot roof top that was very limited and hot to drink. The toilet did not flush and the room was not sanitary. The bathroom smelled like sewage and it was very unpleasant to sleep there because of the open concept room the bathroom is all we could smell. The “pools” accessible to us had green algae in them, floating leaves and debris the entire stay. Even with drinking only bottled water my husband and I got a stomach parasite that made us EXTREMELY sick and weak. We prepaid for a full week at Casa Coyote and had to leave to a clean resort in Cancun, pay again and stay there sick until the end of our trip so we could fly home safely. Danny who is the property manager did not ask why we were leaving, he simply just said leave the keys in the door. The streets outside of Casa Coyote are filthy and littered.

Spent two nights here with my boyfriend. It was very cozy and I loved the experience. You really live ‘in the jungle’ and showering next to baby lizards where such an amazing thing. The room was very cozy, we had our own balcony plus the private rooftop to sit at and have drinks in the sunset. The staff was great and very helpful with whatever I asked. Easy communication with Dante (who was like a host) through WhatsApp. The restaurant is very charming and gives of just great vibes. Only had breakfast there but where never disappointed! Would recommend everyone who would like an unforgettable experience to be staying here!

Way too expensive and overrated!! You pay the price of a 4 stars accomodation and what you get is not even a 2 Star hotel. I'd recommend to take a cheaper hotel in the city center and come to the beach area by car, cab, etc...as it is a very short ride...

It is a nice little hotel. The rooms were pretty and it had pretty much everything we needed and even a rooftop where we could watch the sunset over the jungle. The beach is beautiful and not too crowded. You get „free“ entrance to a beach club right next to the hotel but the communication between the staff and the hotel doesn’t work too well. Our hotel said that there was no minimum consumption fee for us but the staff sometimes said otherwise. The only real problem was that the mosquito nets were not working at all and due to the jungle right in the back yard we had hundreds of them inside. Good to know is that the whole area has a terrible infrastructure. The road is terrible and there is no stable electricity so they had to use generators for that which was really loud during the night even though we had the very last condo. Sadly that seems to be a problem for every hotel because you could hear the generators everywhere.

Great new (to us) find for a last minute trip to Tulum before New Years when most places were booked. We had a decent-sized room that was beautiful, well-appointed, and nestled in the jungle. AC and wifi both worked, which is always a plus (and not always guaranteed) in Tulum! Staff was super friendly and kind. No private beach, which I was aware of - this is a downside with most of the hotels on the jungle side of Tulum beach, but we enjoyed it and definitely would recommend!

Very nice and stylish hotel. We enjoyed our 7-day stay a lot. The hotel has everything you need: shared kitchen, rooftop swimming pool 24h open, working space. The staff and Dante were helpful and nice. We will definitely come back. Gianvito & Maria
