Hotel Casaejido - 77712 Playa del Carmen

This place is just AMAZING . I can assure you guys for this price you won’t find anything even close to this hotel in playa at all . There are so nice , place is antique and unique , super clean , highly highly recommended;)

I stayed at this hotel for a week with my friend back in 2010 to celebrate new years. We stayed at the room directly infront of the swimming pool, it was clean, and comfortable, staff were really friendly and helpful. It's a really nice place to stay and quiet away from the craziness of the main town. I'm hoping that I can visit this place again in the future, as I really enjoyed staying here, highly recommend ??

A very good place to stay,calm,a bit far from the city centre, but you can easy reach by bus in 5 min.Easy to find, very welcoming owner speaking English:)

As we arrived to the accommodation, we were led to another building to our room, though it wasn't mentioned in the booking confirmation, that we're not staying in the main building. The second building wasn't quite the same as what we've seen in the photos. This wasn't also my husband's first time staying in this hotel, so I was sure, the room would be great for it's value. But unfortunately it wasn't even close to any standards, let alone a two stars hotel. The room we came in, had three beds (though we only booked one), some dressers and wardrobe - all of it outdated, with flaky surfaces and some crooked. The bathroom had a very unpleasant smell of humidity and moldy water. The room is right next to the pool in the garden, so maybe that is where the smell came from. The shower curtain was also far from being fresh or clean. We asked at the reception if there was another room we could change to, but there weren't any for the first night of our stay and there would be a higher price if we'd change the room after that. The additional charge for another room would probably be okay, but there weren't any vacant we could look at or move to. So we had to cancel our reservation and start looking for another hotel. As usual, the cost of the first night is non-refundable, which is not quite fair in this particular case.

This place is beautiful, clean and comfortable!! They help with anything that you need, rooms get clean daily, drinking water in the room, it's quiet and pleasant. Good wifi, nice pool. Very recommended!

This place was an oasis of tranquility. We had one cabana in front of the pool and it was amazing to be able to have our breakfast with the nice warm weather by the pool every morning. Check-in was explained in a video and very easy. The cabana was great, had a gigantic bed, nice clean bathroom, and was equipped with fridge, microwave, pans, utensils and a free potable water tank. This was amazing, as we didn't have to buy extra water bottles for the days we were in Playa del Carmen. With a rental car, we were only between 6 and 10 minutes away from the center and the other side of the city.
