v	valentina gonzalez on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El fin de semana pasado tratamos de hacer una reservación por booking como no aceptaban amex perfierimos marcar al hotel a hacer la reservación, contesto un hombre, le pasamos los datos, la hora de llegada y todo, preguntamos que ai necesitaba una trajeta y dijo que no, que ya asi quedaba la reservación, el día que llegamos no estaba la dueña habia un señor llamado Juan Carlos y dijo que no estaba nuestra reservación, me enojo mucho que le hechara toda la culpa a la dueña, que no pidiera ni una disculpa, solo se reía de cuando yo le comentaba que no estaba mi reservación, todavía dijo que el no la había tomado y que no era su culpa, cuado la reservación se hizo contesto un hombre probablemente el!!!! Dormimos muy a gusto sin mas ruido que las olas del lago! Beautiful hotel. Very good attention, they make you feel at home. Beautiful view of the lake from its terrace on the banks. We slept very comfortable with no more noise than the waves of the lake!

My sister and her husband booked a room at this hotel and they refused to let her hairdresser and makeup person, our other sister, in on the day of the wedding. We were only asking to allow us to help our sister get ready on her special day and instead the hotel manager spoke rudely to me, commenting on my broken Spanish, and in contrast spoke kindly to my brother in law who is White and barely speaks Spanish. A very unfortunate experience. I agree with a previous reviewer who noted they treat Mexicans a lot differently than they do extranjeros.

Beautiful, clean rooms with lovely swimming pool and continental breakfast.What really stood out for us is the professional and friendly staff. Abel Santos, the general manager, has done an exceptional job hiring only the best Andrea, Rosa, Norma and Carlos are a few that come to mind. Price point may be a little high for Mexican standards but I will definitely recommend Lake Chapala Inn to my friends and plan to return in the future. ~ Amy Coen New Mexico 7/12/2019
R	Rob Clifford on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place to stay in the heart of Chapala! The breakfast was outstanding and served elegantly in the dining room. The upstairs terrace is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy your visit! Lovely place where there is clearly an eye to every detail!
