★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In Coba it is one of best places to stay. It is a 3 star hotel. All the TV stations are in Spanish. Each room has a mini split A.C. system.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool place and good staff. Only downside for me was the over cleaning of the room. Everyday they change all towels and soaps.
I found it a bit of a waste.
Beds are good, I had everything I needed. I would recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great value for money. I spend about six weeks here each summer because I do research nearby and the Hotel Maya has been an excellent base of operations for us. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are nice, and it's walking distance from the archaeological site.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute, small hotel in Cobá. Don't be discouraged by the entrance through a rickety building up front containing a small store and a pretty good restaurant, as the hotel itself is quite modern and has well-furnished rooms, as well as a nice pool. The staff is very friendly, and do their best to make you understand one another if your Spanish is not that great.
The location is excellent, as it is a 500m walk to the entrance of the Cobá ruins, and bike rentals that can be used to go to the nearby cenotes are even closer.
One thing we noticed during our stay was that there are power outages during the day, possibly scheduled from 11AM to 1PM.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed there one night and it was perfect. The hotel and restaurant staff were super friendly, helpful and flexible. The room and entire area were well maintained and immaculate. The pool was a bonus on each afternoon that I was there. There was fruit and cereal, tea and coffee included in the morning. There were some roosters and turkeys who really added to the character of the town. It was a perfect place to stay to get an early start on the ruins, which were also phenomenal.
