The rooms are built on top of a jazz club, and the walls are paper thin. The music kept us up until 1am. We could hear everything in the rooms around us. Terrible night. Also the smallest hotel room i’ve ever been in. I have hit my shins three times already. We paid for two nights and they won’t give us a refund for the 2nd night, but we are leaving anyway. I’d rather lose the money than lose another night of sleep.

If you just need a small room with a fair price an unbeatable location you will enjoy this place. The bars decoration is unique and mixed with their jazz music selection it becomes a subtle experience. All the staff is exceptional, even better than what I have experienced at top notch hotel chains, specially Saúl Rodríguez at the front desk. Thank you all!

One of my favorite hotels in the world. Quirky, whimsical design with EXCELLENT service. The free margaritas are epic. Breakfast service is very accommodating. Pester them to get the biscuits. Don't let them get away with having something on the menu that is never available.

Overall an ok experience; mostly positive. Pros: Hotel and bar staff were very nice and friendly. Breakfast was good! Alfonso is great. The barman from Chicago provided the best service we had in the city! Rooms very clean, they are small but we didn't mind this. Cons: We arrived late at night and were greeted by the night manager who seemed nice at first but then asked us for a cash payment of $1000 mxn to cover the cost of the mini bar ?? There are clearly signs throughout the hotel stating if a member of staff asks for a cash payment you must not give it to them. Of course we didn't pay him and nothing was mentioned thereafter and he avoided eye contact with us for the duration of our stay. For this reason alone we would not return. Rooms very noisy. Construction starts at 8am and continues until 6pm. No chance of sleeping in.

This hotel is incredible. It’s new so stay there now because once it catches on it’s going to be so popular you won’t get a room easily! The staff were helpful, the neighbourhood is great for a first trip to Mexico City, the food is perfectly prepared. The accommodations are comfy too. It makes a great place to stay if you are worried about elevation sickness and want a comfortable, cool place to relax and adjust.

Impossible to leave luggages because we arrived before and the room was not ready. Never seen that before. Rooms with no windows. Fortunatelly the service is ok and réceptionnists nice but we didn't feel comfortable in that hôtel. They are like little bit parano.

I had my room directly on top of the main entrance and since you have to give up your keys when you leave , I got woken up everytime guest would come home , the room was incredibly cold , I measured 3 degrees , I can absolutely not recommend this hotel absolutely not worth it ,had to leave early because I couldn’t stand the cold anymore and of course didn’t get my money back !!!!

We booked this property after reading reviews here, but I'm wondering if these people are staying at the same property we did. The interior is quaint, clean, and the gentleman who checked us in was very accommodating. Things went down hill after we got to our room however. The room was tiny even by European standards, had no a/c, no ceiling fan, no windows except the one in the shower that opens into the hotel staff laundry room which made sleep nearly impossible. The room was basically a sauna. The advertised queen size bed was actually a full size, so we complained and were given a room with a king size bed thankfully, although still no air circulation. The bathroom was so small that there was absolutely no counter space and the shower door is rigged in such a way that there is no way to turn on the shower without getting blasted with cold water. We told the front desk staff that we'd be unable to stay another night due to our experience, and of course we're told there would be no refund. Unless you're young and just out seeing the world on a budget, I would avoid this place like the plague. It was a horrible experience.
