Hotel Playa Fiesta - 48390 Puerto Vallarta

I went to a wedding here in January 2020. What an incredible experience - the staff is beyond helpful and friendly. The service was amazing. The food was so yummy, too! Everyone at the wedding had an amazing time here and we all can’t wait to come back again!

We were here for a wedding in Feb 2020. This place was INCREDIBLE- from the food, staff and facilities. Loved every minute and felt like the staff really wanted everyone to have a great time.

Where to start? Destination weddings can be stressful and chaotic, but not at this place. Here, as soon as you set your bags down, the only thing you have to worry about is which lounge chair you want. First, I have never interacted with a more professional, friendly and attentive staff than the folks at Hotel Playa Fiesta. Anywhere. Ever. Seriously. If the same standard of care and service was the norm everywhere else, we’d live in an idyllic utopia. I cannot underscore how great the staff made us all feel during our week at the resort. The rooms and resort grounds are super inviting, respectful of local culture and design, and fun to navigate. The coziness of the overall space feels like you’re on your own private island. The quality and cleanliness are ?. I was a guest, so I can’t speak to the wedding planning aspects, but I know my friends had a positive experience, and the ceremony and reception spaces were beautiful. Everything went off without a hitch! If my best friend hadn’t had his wedding here, I would totally book it for my own. Heck, I may do it anyway, who knows!

FROM A GROOM PERSPECTIVE If your stumbling across this review it’s because you’re deciding whether or not to go with play fiesta for your wedding right? You’re thinking it’s to good to be true since they have no bad reviews which is what I thought too. There’s a reason for that though, no review can even get close to the experience you will actually receive there. You will have a certain expectation after reading all these reviews and they will surpass it! The staff there was amazing! Pato was so welcoming and always greeting everyone in the morning , Loredo always making everyone laugh during breakfast, Charley, the best bartender you will ever have, for the amount of people we had it was amazing that no one ever had to wait for a drink! Then you have Nino, I’ll tell you what, you will never have an empty drink in your hand he is always taking care of everyone, he even got my daughter a gift!That goes for Alejandro too!! This guy gets the party going and is always looking out for everyone and cracking jokes. That’s just to name a few but every single staff member takes care of you! It will literally be the best service you will ever have! Then you have Gabi and Lindsay, the nicest people you will ever meet in your life and they take care of you on another level! From the day we got there to the day we left they made sure nothing went wrong and would always ask if we needed anything. Don’t take it from me or any other of these reviews you read though, it’s definitely worth booking with them and you will not regret it, it’s worth every penny!

If you don't want to read this entire review, here's the one thing to take away... Playa Fiesta is 1000% the place where you want to get married. My wife and I knew we wanted to have our wedding in Puerto Vallarta, and went to visit a handful of potential venues in person. After walking in the doors of Playa Fiesta, we nearly cancelled the rest of our venue tours. It's breathtaking, perfect and magical beyond words. We had our wedding there this April and are both so so so glad we did. From the very beginning, Lindsay and Adam (the owners), were so incredibly friendly, organized, and on top of everything. They made wedding planning a breeze, and were so quick to respond to our questions, provide advice and help us make sure we were ready for the big day. After getting to know them closely at our event, we genuinely feel like their friends and couldn't be more grateful for everything they did for us. What else can I say... 1. The staff was so amazing. In particular, Gabbi (who was involved from the very moment we went for a tour of the property), really went above and beyond to take care of us and our guests. But it doesn't stop there -- the bartenders, waiters, maids and the rest of the staff were all so incredibly welcoming and friendly. They genuinely got to know us and our guests, and by the end of the weekend we were all sad to say 'adios'. 2. The rooms are stunning. Literally every single room on the property is beyond beautiful and will make your guests feel equally special. There's a mix of single rooms and suites, so that you can easily combine family and friends who might want to stay together, as well as those who might like more privacy. 3. The property grounds will leave you speechless. It's hard to put into words or capture in photos, but just trust me -- it's one of the most magical places we've ever been. A big selling point for us was knowing that we would have the entire property to ourselves. No need to worry about someone else's rowdy children cannonballing into the pool while you're trying to catch up with guests. Playa Fiesta's location is in the safest and nicest part of the city, Conchas Chinas, and while being slightly outside of the downtown area it's still super easy to catch a ride to La Zona Romantica or other downtown areas. 4. The food was phenomenal. Our guests repeatedly commented about it. Want to wake up to an incredible breakfast buffet every day with the ocean in the background and a mimosa in hand? Yes, you do. 5. The photographer, Eder, did such a great job. Playa Fiesta provided us with a handful of local photographers to choose from, all of which were amazing. We chose Eder for his dramatic artistic style, and are so glad we did. He's done many weddings at PF and knew exactly when and where to be to get the right shot. Very much a hidden gem. How this place isn’t better known ?!! The entire staff, and owner Lindsay go above an beyond. From a wending patron standpoint , we were highly impressed. Well worth the travel, we would do it all over again. Amazing location, awesome views, great food, and attending staff. What an awesome weekend thank you Hotel Playa Fiesta

I truly can not express how wonderful this place is. It’s a perfect paradise filled with such wonderful people! My sister got married here last month and we still can not stop talking about our weekend at Hotel Playa Fiesta. For starters Gaby and Lindsay were THE most helpful from start to finish. They ensured that all our needs were met & were two of the kindest people I have ever met. I would sincerely like to thank them and the staff of the hotel for making this experience so memorable for my family. As a mom of a 9 month old, it can be a little intimidating flying and staying somewhere new for the first time. I can not express enough how wrong I was for ever feeling any ounce of doubt. For those of you that are looking for assurance with little ones, do not hesitate to book this exceptional place! I hope your memories are as great as ours. Thank you Hotel Playa Fiesta!
