★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room we got is worst than a motel 8, even though we did book a day in advance and they said they only had this room available it is not what you would expect to get from this place. I always loved the pools and services available in this hotel but if this is the best one can get at the last minute, it is certainly not worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This American owned hotel is under adverse possession by a Mexican family. The legal attempt to reclaim possession remains in the slow Mexican court system. I would recommend being anywhere else but in this hostile environment.
I am pretty sure the good ratings are made up by the family in question.
This is an old run down hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have a nice restraint with good food. A bar on the water to dolphin watch and a Sunday brunch. Frequent entertainment with food and drinks served looking over the water. With local vendors showcasing their wares for sale. A fantastic, clean, safe and friendly place. I walked the beach for miles everyday

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is in a beautiful location and the people are trying hard to make your visit as perfect as possible but they fall short. The drinks we ordered were not even close. The dinner was disappointing. Shrimp was much smaller than they were on our first visit. And the food got cold quickly. We would go back for the atmosphere and give them another shot. Some servers were just learning.

The management doesn't answer their phone at night. The room below us brought their speak and had the music loud all night. Sad that others have no respect. And that the hotel permits this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible Service!! They don't let you have music turn on even tough there's a club right next to it, they don't let you have drinks or snacks in the garden.. Besides the owner is rounding around looking at what the guest are doing which makes it really uncomfortable. Besides the unnecessary rules, the receptionist had a terrible character toward us and other guest.
Won't stay here again for sure!!
Had to repost this review because they threaden me that if I dint erase it, they wouldn't return me my deposit. I thought everyone needed to know this before you reserved!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The very best that San Carlos has to offer. Upscale fine dining with a great cellar, perfectly mixed signature drinks, and attentive (but not intrusive) wait staff. Great atmosphere, clean and very reasonably priced. Definitely a must see if you're in San Carlos. Great views of the Sea of Cortez.
