The staff is very helpful, I highly recommend just for customer service alone. Breakfast and coffee provided. Rooms large. The shower was a bit small. Great location.

I stayed here a few nights in the middle of Sept, 2021 and am writing this review the same day as checking out. It was the 3rd hotel I stayed at on my current trip and to be honest, the lowest cost and the experience was complementary. I was surprised as the photos and comments I had read was quit appealing. I'll start with the positive qualities: - Location: It is besides Garibaldi Plaza, hence near many things to see, this also contributes to a negative which i'll outline below. - Comfort: The beds with pillow-top cushions and thick blankets made for a comfortable reprieve. Unfortunately that was not the only factor as I'll also outline below. - Service: The person who attended us was cordial, and overall the staff was accommodating. Negatives: - Noise: Not only was there noise outside, but noise inside from other rooms. The design of the doors are such that they inadvertently produce a loud slam when closed. We heard this at all hours of the night. Also, i'm not sure if it was the plumbing, but I occasionally heard gushing water as if a toilet was used. This internal noise, combined with the activities outside the hotel, lead to various sleep disruptions. - Comfort: The bathroom had a constant bad smell so we had to keep the bathroom window open. In the morning after opening the bathroom door it was quite repulsive. - Wifi: This was another disappointment. The signal was often weak, and sometimes unresponsive. Overall, we spent multiple nights in each of three hotels: Hotel Historico Central, Kali Centro, and Garibaldi and I would rank them in that order. Overall, I'd recommend Kali Centro, or if splurging, Historico Central. As Garibaldi was a surprise on the negative side, the other two were quite the opposite.

My boyfriend and I stayed there for a week. All was good, the room was clean, it has a/c, the lunchbox for breakfast was also good, better than expected. The hotel has free parking. Is well located in downtown.

A very nice hotel! The location is safe, there’s always wonderful music from the restaurants in the nearby, which gives the whole place a good vibe. And you should really go out at night to enjoy the music! There are also musicians playing authentic Mexican music next to the tequila museum. Great ambience. The metro station and main attractions are very close.

The room was nice and comfy, it was cleaned and had the towels changed every day which is a big plus. In the room there was a safe with an electronic lock in the room and the clima which worked just great. The staff was helpful. We chose a room from the streets side which turned out not to be the best choice, since most of the nights on the street there was a big fiesta till 3 am ? (it's located next to the Mariachi square) The breakfast box was tasty but pretty basic and repetitive.

The entire staff is just amazing. Very friendly and welcoming including the security officers. The rooms are clean and very spacious. Breakfast is good and there's a fitness room, business center and 24 hour coffee. Located near many food spots. Can't complain for the price paid. Great hotel and I highly recommend. Thank you Ivan for being so helpful!

Terrible place to sleep. Music playing even now (3:43 AM). A lot of noise in the hallways late into the night (but only to about midnight). Poor wall insulation. As a side note, we did ask for a quieter room at reservation. Can't imagine how loud a "normal" room would be. Also, room was only superficially clean as the bathroom had hair on the floor. If you are a light sleeper do not stay here without earplugs. No comment on breakfast yet as it's still a few hours from being served. Do know that it is a bagged breakfast due to COVID. Also, restaurant is still closed.

Extremely loud from restaurants/bars, dirty and worn, and hardly any light in the rooms— I assume because they don’t want you to see how bad it really is. Don’t even have soap for the bathroom. The front desk staff was friendly though.
