★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was the first time I was travelling to Mérida Yucatán and really I was very excited. Imagine my surprise when I arrive and for the best price I get 2 beds, air conditioner, a fan, tv, etc. The thing about the room was that, it wasn't miniscule, but it was quite reduced. But really if you are in Mérida you can't stay in the hotel for more than the hours you need for sleep, because if you do, you don't quite enjoy your vacations. The hotel has a very familiar vibe and the people at the reception are very friendly. The Meridian people in general are very talkative and are willing to help you in every way because they are proud of their heritage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is very clean and the rooms are well maintained. I found the bed comfortable, though the pillows could use an upgrade. The shower had plenty of hot water when it was needed. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's near the bus station CAME and 10 minutes away from the main plaza.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the room was really, really small. The towels felt like drying myself with sandpaper. The TV looked from either the 80s and 90s. It also had a high pitched whine. The door to the bathroom continuously caught on the corner of the bigger bed. After we had ordered something to eat, the ants came. They were all over the floor and the shelf. The initial cost of the room was acceptable. However, about five minutes after we turned on the AC, a staff remember arrived to say that we owed an additional $120, because we had booked a room with a fan and not AC, something she failed to mention and notice when I did checkin. I checked me and my children out shortly after that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good little posada close to the centre. Clean and well kept. Comfy rooms with clean bathroom. Old, but functional TV. I think it’s run by a family. Rooms are much cheaper if you walk in or call than it would be on booking.com
