Hotel Posada Primavera - 29240 San Cristóbal de las Casas

Great place, designed, decorated, service, Wi-Fi, TV, .lovely restrooms, clean most of all, overall decent fee..RECOMMENDED

This place is awesome. The rooms are clean, respectively cheap and the staff were all very nice and accommodating. Would absolutely stay there again.

This hotel would not give us 2 extra blankets! Most stupid customer service policy I have ever seen. 1) I have traveled a lot all over Mexico and Latin America , and stayed at many hotels and AIRBNBs -- (2) I am not a fussy traveler.. I have never written a negative review on TripAdvisor (3) this hotel is supposed to be very nice ..it is not cheap at all by San Cristobal standards... So when they wouldn't give us 2 extra blankets we were totally shocked! It gets cold in San Cristobal. It looked like there were only 5 guests in the whole hotel...Obviously there were at least 100 unused blankets lying around -- so why wouldn't they give us 2 extra blankets??? HAVE YOU EVER STAYED AT AN EVEN SEMI-NICE HOTEL WHERE THEY WOULD NOT GIVE YOU AN EXTRA BLANKET? The front desk clerk would not give us a straight answer...I suspect the hotel policy is not give out extra blankets...but why? How can the hotel have such a stupid anti-customer policy?? I wasn't asking for an electric space heater or anything complicated -- just 2 blankets!! At first, the clerk told us to go to our room and "wait and see if we need extra blankets." When I told her that I did not want to wake up in the middle of the night cold and stumble out to the front desk to ask for more blankets, she still would not send us extra blankets. Finally after a long wait, a very sweet bell boy brought us one blanket. At this point I didn't want to beg any more for a blanket, and I was so upset by the complete idiocy of this anti-customer hotel policy that we just packed up and left to stay with friends in their apartment. There was no confusion about our request -- we speak fluent Spanish and explained clearly what we wanted. There was not a staffing problem -- as I said above, there appeared to be only 5 guests in the hotel. No, we had just encountered a level of stupidity and bad customer service which boggles the mind. So Posada Primavera management -- before you do one other thing -- before you pretend to be a nice hotel with good customer service...please empower your employees to give extra blankets to customers who request them. Don't tell your customers that it really isn't cold, or to wait until they feel cold and then ask for a blanket...JUST GIVE THEM A BLANKET!

The stuff is great, the location is nice but the room we took was very small (with 2 double beds), dark and cold (there's no heater or something similar). There's no restaurant or room service, although there are many options to eat and drink around...

Would recommend, nice clean, and affordable.

I keep coming back to stay here because I love the ambience, the staff, and the prices here. Near the center of town, but far away enough to avoid all the tourists (and tourist prices).

Absolutely impeccable hotel. It's a wonderful colonial building, very well kept. The rooms are big and cosy. The bed was extra large and perfect to chill. WiFi worked well everywhere inside the building. Very friendly customer service too.

Such a beautiful hotel, we had and amazing time in what felt like our own little haven. Thank you to the very helpful staff
